Better Iran's than Israel's-or Europe's.

Maev is rather heartless. I mean, what about the civilians!

For omelettes, you break eggs.

When you break it all down, I'd prefer taking out some relics in some Middle East pisshole if it kills all of the terrorists around them.

When they nuke us, as they would LOVE to do, do you think that they are giving a flying f*ck about any of our treasures?

BTW - Where's the "Rich Architecture" in the pic?

When I read this, my first thought went back to the old "Aladin" Popeye cartoon. Popeye, as Aladin, uses his sword to slice off some big Arab/Persian's baggy pants and says, "Abu Hassan Ghadam Anymore!"

Not sure exactly why this popped into my head.

"He has since seen his worst fears confirmed: the site of ancient Babylon became an American military base..."

I'm sure the Prof would have preferred that Manhattan become a terrorist training camp and camel watering hole...

"Wah! Don't Stike Iran!" sez the British Labour Party via its media mouth pieces.

I guess Iran's Rich artchitecture and society are more valuable than that of the U.S. When It comes to Iran getting nukes and giving them too their terrorist pals I think I'll take my chances with the United States of America.

Incinerate Iran before she does it to us.To some people that may seem to be politically incorrect.

America, not just Israel, is threatened by Iran's nuclear program. If Iran is allowed to develop nuclear weapons, it's only a matter of when, NOT if, there are nuclear explosions in one or more American cities.

Boo freakin' hoooo ... imagine if we thought this way 1943 - 45.

We did. There was a lot of fretting over Monte Casino before the decision was finally made to attack it. Kyoto was famously left untouched because of its heritage. And famous cathedral in Cologne was untouched by USAAF bombs because the crew were sternly lectured before each mission over Cologne to try mightily to avoid it.

The Cologne Cathedral untouched by Allied bombing. You can see how they managed to avoid it while still bombing areas just blocks away.

At least they didn't say anything about the Children.

Or mention that a lot of weddings are held there...with SA-18's & Katyushas used for the post-ceremony celebratory fireworks.

The other side of "Iran's Rich Architecture And Rare Treasures Threatened By Possible US Strikes"

Is "London's Rich Architecture And Rare Treasures Threatened By Possible Terrorist Strikes"

I guess it just depends on your point of view.

Here's a list of American architecture threatened by Iranian nuclear weapons:

1. The Capitol Building
2. The White House
3. The Lincoln Memorial
4. The Washington Monument
5. The Library of Congress
6. The Smithsonian Castle
7. The National Gallery of Art
8. The National Portrait Gallery
9. The Freer Museum
10 The Sackler Gallery

You folks should make it a point to see these things while they're still here.....

These people hide amongst women and children. Why wouldn't they amongst historical buildings?

"Maybe 'Iran' should have thought of this before they decided to develop nukes with which to destroy Israel."

I guess that the Iranians never heard General Sherman's remark that "WAR IS HELL"!
