Landed and caught fire. If I heard FNC report correctly.
Prayers.
Garuda, not the safest airline out there.
I flew them a few times, have no real desire to fly them again.
Prayer for all who perished.

They all sank during the last big storm.
Well, that ain't sounding too good.
Sure beats taking MANDALA AIRWAYS! (with their crappy Lockheed Electra's)
ping.
Mandala has an awesome livery.
Scariest I flew was Lao Airlines, and some assorted Tupolevs and Ilyushins in E. Europe.
OMG!
Aussie journalists and embassy staff??? Hmmm.
They make it sound like the plane landed and inexplicably burst into flames. That's really suspicious, if that's truly the case. Other reports said that the plane crashed. That would make the fire less bizarre.

wonder if someone on that flight had a magnet in one of his body cavitieies?
What does that have to do with things?
One of the worst crashes ever happened that way. Saudia L1011, landed, crew was freaked and didn't pop open the doors and it flashed over, and killed everyone.
