My step daughter moved from NoCal to Anchorage March '06. This is her first full winter she has lived outside NoCal and it has been a doozy in Anchorage. She has a new appreciation of winter.

Just got one of those "Spring is here" emails complete with little Johnny playing in the dirt.
I sent them back a image of the 3 feet of snow covering my garden. It's going to be awhile before I see any dirt.....sigh.
We are starting seeds in hopes of getting something to grow this year.
