Fox News reporting that the dog foods are contaminated with rat poinson.
My 13 year old Dachshund died a couple of weeks ago and I just chalked it up to old age, but he had been eating can dog food. Makes me wonder!
Our local radio said the poison (banned in the U.S.) was used on wheat shipped from China. The wheat I'm guessing was used as a thickening agent in the gravy.
What brands were affected?

I bought 6 pouches of the recalled Kitty Special cat food, fed 2 to my cats then heard about the recall. Thank God neither pouch had been tainted and my kitties are just fine. I will be returning the remaining packages of cat food for a refund.
Yes, the recent recalls and dog deaths is now because of rat poison found in the foods.
If it had been done by PETA, then it kind of backfired for them since they had to use several cats (who eventually did die) to test the food.

I won't take that bet, but I will go out on a limb and say I believe you are correct.
This recall involved MILLIONS of products....
The class action suits have already begun. Big surprise.
Wonder if John Edwards can head up some of the law suits. Good way to fund his campaign...

If you do a search for the pet food recall I know there were links that listed the foods on the threads. They were pouch foods mostly.
