Giuliani is Clear Favourite in Pennsylvania (beats HC by 4 pts)

Republican Rudy Giuliani could win the Keystone State in the 2008 United States presidential election, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. 46 per cent of respondents in Pennsylvania would support the former New York City mayor, while 42 per cent would vote for Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Giuliani also holds a seven-point lead over Illinois senator Barack Obama, and a nine-point edge over former North Carolina senator John Edwards.

In other match-ups, Arizona senator John McCain is tied with Obama, trails Rodham Clinton by one point, and leads Edwards by one point. The three Democratic presidential hopefuls hold the upper hand in contests against former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

In 2004, Democratic nominee John Kerry carried Pennsylvania’s 21 electoral votes, with 51 per cent of the vote. No Republican has won the Keystone State since George H. Bush in 1988.

I am disgusted by all of you. I doubt there is not one Rudy supporter who will not support whomever the Republican candidate might be. The fanatics on Free Republic would much rather pout and throw a temper tantrum and make sure a Democrat gets into office. That's when you know you are a selfish FANATIC! What has happened to this site. It has gotten vile, mean and ugly.

I am not a republican. I am a conservative. I will not vote for this liberal period.

Also, in the case of Rino Rudy a rat is not at all scarey. He is that much of a leftist.

I haven't decided who I will vote for yet. I like to see facts before I make a decision. The one candidate I will not consider is Duncan Hunter because of Free Republic. All of his supporters are mean and nasty. It's a horrible way to judge a candidate but that is what all of you have done. I am sure I am not the only one who has made this decision based on the level that his supporters have gone down to. I am not a mean and miserable person like his supporters are. I also am willing to listen to the other side which none of his supporters will do.

I have listened to the others and some I would support, but after researching the past of Rudy McRomney I will never vote for any of them.

I'm pretty much opposed to any candidate the ragers like, I've discovered. Since I've seen them call a freeper Satan because he doesn't like Ron Paul, this has become my new policy :-)

I did not mention just any dem, I mentioned the bigger threat that is Barrack Hussein Obama to the US if elected to the presidency. Instead you seem to have ignored the Hussein threat.

I consider Rino Rudy just as bad. He is just as liberal.

Merry, the difference is you are a reasonable person with an open mind, those you speak of believe nastiness and name calling are an effective way to call attention to their candidate, however the outcome is no one listens to them any longer.

of course you don't see anything wrong with it, that's because you are favorably disposed towards rudy. it really doesn't matter what the event was DONE for, it is the fact of the photo and how it will be used that is the problem. i don't think it's a dealbreaker, but he can and will be made to look silly with it. that's a fact.

It's not about political leanings.

You're still avoiding the real issue in a PC-fashion.

If Rudy were to prevail, the MSM will shred him like a rejected credit card pre-approval : )

I'm simply putting it in context. It was a FUND RAISER FOR CHARITY! No big deal, end of story. The RudyPhobes will run it into the ground to no avail.

i know you are putting it in context. i don't NEED you to do that for me, because i know where it came from. i am simply stating that when used by the opposition against him they are NOT going to be putting it in your context. it can be used against him simply because it exists and it would be better for him if it did NOT exist. i know that a rudyfan doesn't want to admit to any wrinkle in the seamless garment that is rudy, but it just happens to be true that it will be used against him.

The truth is between those two I do not see enough difference on the major issues I care about to care if either win.

Why will it be unfortunate for me? I am for a full debate and primary race. You are for forcing everyone out but Rudy. I am highly confidant that there will in fact be a vigorous primary battle.

the rudyfans don't want to hear about that. they are bellyaching about freepers opposed to rudy maligning him on FR, they are going to need to MAN UP before the general election if their boy prevails, because it is going to be U-G-L-Y. did you see Forbes on Fox this AM? steve forbes was talking about his endorsement and the other panelists were discussing it. The lib guy named Quentin, i don't recall his last name but he is a huge lib, was saying that it was going to be BAD, if rudy prevailed. oh and i don't think it's because they are quaking in their boots over the formidable opponent, i think he was saying the same thing you and i are. rudy has a trailerload of ammo for them to use against him. but the rudyfans put their fingers in their ears and hum hail to the chief, thinking it is all going to be ok.
