Michael Savage: The Enemy Within (One of The Biggest Threats to Conservatives)
Self | 4/4/07 | Self

Posted on 04/04/2007 5:58:38 AM PDT by NYC Republican

To those that don't know Savage or listen to him, he claims to be an "independent conservative"... He surely does espouse some conservative views, but the vile he spews towards Bush, his cabinet, and other Republicans and GOPers could be mistaken for Air America trash.

It would be easy to blow him off as another looney blow-hard, but he's the 3rd most listened-to talk show host in the nation... He has over 8 million listeners, and in calling himself a conservative, he DOES have some real influence there. He's supposed to be on our side, but shifts positions so often, he's become a joke. He embodies every lefty criticism of our side.

In listening to parts of his show last night, he has the following things to say, in a short time span...

* Syria isn't nearly as bad as Iran, they can be spoken to, they don't threaten Israel, they are nationalists not fundamentalists

* The war was started to benefit Oil companies.

* Blasted Bush to no end, said Rice should have been fired a long time ago, blasted the rest of the cabinet

* Said it was OK for Pelosi to go talk to Syria

* Asked why is there a division between GOP and Dems, why do we automatically assume everything they do should be hated, etc.

In my view, this scum is far more dangerous than Air America and nearly every lib out there. He's pretending to be a conservative, yet does more damage to our causes than any other non-politician I can think of, because he has the influence to sway people.

This guy is an utter disgrace and a phony.

I am a big fan of Dennis Prager, who has a radio show in the mornings. One thing he stresses is that we should strive for clarity, as it’s the first step toward building a sound opinion. Throw clarity out, and the conclusions are compromised, sometimes severely.

Then you end up wondering how Rick Santorum lost by 20 points, when you expected it to be a close win.

>But that doesn’t amount to treason.<

That depends on what her motives are for going there, and what she is trying to negotiate. We don’t know that yet, but it is quite unusual for a Speaker of the House to venture into the enemy’s lair, AGAINST the wishes of the President.

“Miller replaced him on some of his markets, and Savage is bitter.”

About damn time.

It is, but outside of some commentary on FR, it’s not clear she went to negotiate anything at all.

I’m willing to be open about it until more facts come in. instinctively I see this as a shot at embarrassing the president. But that’s not treason, in itself.

Have you ever read, “Votescam”, by the Colliers? Votes are decided by those who count them.

“He has changed a lot over the years, but I will give him credit — he was WAY ahead of the illegal immigration curve and has his head screwed on right on many issues.”

Why did Weiner provide cover for McCain-Kennedy?

Why did Weiner support an open borders candidate for California ATTY. General?

I have in fact read the book, but even that book doesn’t suggest the counters could manufacture a 20 point loss.

No argument from me. I don’t like her at all. But that doesn’t mean she negotiated a worthless deal with the Syrians.

“And no, Bush is not a Conservative. He is a Globalist “New World Order” type.”

That’s a lie.

If the Washington State election board could contest a win by Republican Governor candidate Rossi by recounting three times until the Democrat candidate Gregoire finally won by a handful of votes, the counters could manufacture a 20 point loss for Santorum.

The margin has to be close enough for them to cheat. A 20 point margin (Santorum lost 60-40) just can’t be faked, as a practical matter.

"You're even more delusional than normal!"

I'm being called "delusional" by a fan of a bi-polar, faux conservative who lives in San Francisco, and funds the campaigns of Marxists?

That is too rich.

So tell me how I am delusional? The liberals are physically attacking Republicans, and the Wiener thread is, at the least, partially devoted to bashing Republicans.

I don't see Wiener fans DEFENDING the GOP do you? So, when Republicans are being attacked by libs, do Wiener and his fans object?

“Savage is a “San Francisco” Conservative.”

How do you figure he’s a conservative? He supports Democrats.
