PARIS (AP) A senior U.S. diplomat, Nicholas Burns, says Iran is transferring weapons to Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.
Maybe the “news” is that we’re hearing it more and more.
The only news would be if AP admitted that this is such OLD news they’re embarrassed about releasing it now.
LOL. The left never apologizes for anything.

Television polls predicted a slim victory for former prime minister Ehud Barak over MK Ami Ayalon in the second round of the Labor Party primary on Tuesday.
According to a Channel 10 poll, Barak received 51 percent of the vote to Ayalon’s 49 percent. Channel 2 gave Barak 50.5 percent to Ayalon’s 49.5, while Channel 1 gave Barak a slightly larger lead, at 52 percent to 48 percent.
Polls generally have a margin of error of roughly four percentage points, meaning that the race is a statistical tie.

So there ya have it.
Armed Palestinian groups have committed serious violations of international humanitarian law during recent fighting in the Gaza Strip, in some cases amounting to war crimes, Human Rights Watch said Wednesday morning. In internal Palestinian fighting over the last three days, both Fatah and Hamas armed forces have summarily executed captives, killed people not involved in hostilities, and engaged in gun battles with one another inside and near Palestinian hospitals.

Funny its being reported now.
Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmad Arnous stated Tuesday that Damascus was willing to join Israel at the negotiating table. His statement comes only a few days after sources around Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confirmed the existence of a secret track between Israel and Syria. "Syria is prepared to renew talks based upon the land for peace principle, without preconditions, to bring about stability and security in the region," Arnous said. The Syrian diplomat, who made the statement following a Damascus meeting with Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyanni, also said that Syria was determined to regain the Golan.
