NBC seems as tho they trying to find an excuse to NOT show the material.
Maybe it was sent via snail mail. I’m still not sure that it wasn’t e-mailed. But I’m quite sure NBC doesn’t open and read all the e-mail it receives the moment it arrives. Given all the news this week, they may not have gotten around to it until today.

Mailed package/box (2 day); received at NBC today; immediately turned over to NYPD/FBI.
Specific Addressee is not know, but was labeled to NBC News.

“NBC News has indeed received what I would call a “multimedia manifesto” from the gunman. We received it today, and immediately handed it over to Federal law enforcement authorities. We are still going over our own copy — its a lot of material — we are talking with law enforcement, our own standards people — and Pete Williams, our Justice Correspondent, will join me live on the broadcast to go through the material.”

Package was simply addressed to NBC, not NBC News.
Opened in mailroom. Shooter’s name may have been on back of package. Mailroom immediately notified authorities.

Does anybody really believe that they “immediately” turned this over prior to making copies of everything lol.
