You'll be briefly pleased to learn that the principal can be named as a defendant, and held liable "jointly and severally" with the school district for any damages that may be awarded. Of course the district would then promptly indemnify him and pay all the damages ...

If the school district took immediate action against the teacher and principal, the district could avoid liability; and left the teacher and principle on their own to shoulder the entire liability.

In this town we had such an election a few years ago and the new school board found that the whole system had turned opaque on them. They got no cooperation from anyone and after a few months one could not distinguish them from the old school board.

That's mutiny. Call out the firing squads. Start from the top -- the most senior people will be the leaders of the rebellion. Fire them to set the tone, then start firing everyone under them who comes in to answer questions and exhibits a churlish, surly, or uncooperative tone. Just fire them, and fire, and fire, and fire.

Eventually you'll get down to good metal.

Or rock bottom.

Whatever, your school system will be yours again.

AMEN!! Pastor. And what the boy asked was a good question. He was doing nothing, nor did his piece of tape say anything, except that he “is straight”. For that he is asked to remove it and when he is asked why, he is told either remove it or he gets suspended for the day. Lord, what has happened to my country? (I know what, and wish this pastor would open eyes) He is right, we need to stand up for Christ now!

It’s true. Every taxpayer should take time to voice very real concern that we’re paying for teaching with an agenda. It isn’t the place of the school to teach moral [or in this case, amoral] values. And at taxpayer expense?!

Good for that kid. We never had to deal with this at my school, but I imagine I would have been suspended too. I guess whats good for the goose is no longer good for the gander.
