Hoping some of you may be able to help track down some of the CCW information that was posted in the Virginia Tech posts over the last week. Specifically, I'm looking for references to incidents were crimes were stopped by good citizens carrying legal guns - especially the incidents involving fire in "gun free" zones and public places.
My goal is to compile a list with references to be distributed to local community discussion groups here near home to better arm the community (no pun intended) to make informed decisions about whether or not to support folks supporting anti-gun agendas locally.
Thanks in advance.

DaveLoneRanger would be a good one to check with for that information.
I think he keeps a national list on that.
Restraint, indeed. I think I would have shot him.
Go for the “banglist”. You might have to look at the titles for CCW but you’ll find quite a number there.
Contact the NRA, they used to summarize news events in their monthly publication. They must have hundreds.
every month the NRA has a page devoted to that in the American Rifleman
Multitasking and lurking at the same time takes its toll. ;(

Additionally, the more recent Armed Citizen stories have been keyed to that state’s postal code. For instance, Virginia’s AC pinglist would read as

Thanks to DaveLoneRanger for that idea, as he also maintains the AC Pinglist.
