In a statement released today after the vote to surrender, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid today issued the following statement:
"I have previously called for the Washington Nationals to surrender their season since they have no way to win the World Series, and I have been instrumental in the surrender of the United States to al-quaeda, or is it the shia, or is it the shiites or is, hell, I don't know. We did surrender to someone though. We had to have, since we've lost. But I now believe it is time for us to reconsider our options in the Southwest United States and seriously consider surrendering to the Mexicans who are in a full-fledged invasion of our nation. We don't have the troops, we don't have the money and we have no plan. United States citizens who wish to redeploy to other states may do so with the full support of the 46 remaining states in the union. They should contact the Murtha Federal Office of Redeployment Options for more information".
When asked which 4 states he would consider giving up, Reid said, "California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. We obviously can't give up Nevada since that's where I make my bread and butter, besides, I'm important and have many more years of surrendering ahead of me before I retire to France."

How do you REALLY know this isn’t exactly what he said? It sure fits what we know about him.
Frankly, I’m not going to dismiss the possibility that this report is real.
I think he’s also called for the State to surrender in the case against Phil Spector.
It sounds like his position is in perfect alignment with those in the Bush Admiistration. The main difference is that this was Bush’s position in 2001.

Maybe he can figure out who to turn Philly over to. We definitely need an exit strategy there - - almost as many killed there so far this year as in Iraq.
Harry has changed his representation. From now on, he’s Senator Reid (D-Vichy).
I guess I wont put it past his ilk. Those people always amase me as to how low they can get.
