DNC Dean Says Giuliani's 'Personal Life Is A Serious Problem'
Drudge Report ^ | April 27, 2007

Democratic party chairman Howard Dean said on Thursday that Rudy Giuliani "personal life is a serious problem."

Dean sent the warning on CNN's SITUATION ROOM with host Wolf Blitzer.

Chariman Dean said the former New York City Mayor "has a lot of character issues that he has to answer for. And overwhelmingly, Americans are going to vote on honesty and integrity.... We've begun to reach out to evangelical Christians, and that's a real problem for him. His personal life is a serious problem for him."

BLITZER: Well, describe those character issues...

DEAN: No, I'm not going to get into that stuff. I don't like attacking people on their personal lives, but I can assure you that in the Republican primary, given what went on in the 2000 Republican primary in South Carolina between George Bush and John McCain, those attacks will be made in the Republican Party.

Developing...

Can the hypocrisy of the left wing hate filled traitors reach a limit? Or is it limitless?

I thought that anything do in private was private, or was the rule from ‘92 to ‘00 when WJC was in charge?

How would the world perceive POTUS-in-a-Prom-Dress?

Surely, we can do better.

NOW Howard Brush Dean III, child of privilege, Birkenstock doc, and beneficiary of some $3.8 million in trust funds, equities and financial instruments, thinks that somebody might be vulnerable on the personal morality issue. He lives in the apparent “genteel poverty” of a country doctor persona. This, then, makes him a “man of the people”, and as such, gives him a patina of being a populist.

Oh, no, no moral turpitude stench around him, Howie is just cuffing moonbat NUTS.

Well, Dean’s right. Guiliani does have huge personal issues and it’s the reason why I’ll not vote for him in the primaries. What he fails to realize though, is that I’ll happily vote for him over any Democrat in the general election. I suspect that a lot of other conservative Republicans will do the same. Dean suspects that Guiliani will get the nomination. If he does, he will definitely take a lot of Democrat votes from the Dem candidate; personal issues won’t matter to them. He’s beginning now to appeal to conservative Christians to sit out the 2008 election. Some may, but I don’t think enough will to overturn the number of Dem votes Guiliani will take.

Talking to a liberal relative during the Clinton admin., she stated "Character didn't matter".

I'll bet she uses 'character' to diss Guliani though.

Libs flip-flop depending on their wanted outcome, a given.

Dean is very pragmatic ....

He knows that RG puts a lot of Dem states in play and they count on some of our more myopic Republican brothers and sisters to destroy RG so they won’t have to face him in the general election ... they may well succeed.

List below does not include NJ and Michigan - normal Dem automatic where RG has substantial lead on Hillary. Their worst nightmare is California which is game, set and match if the Dems lose it. If they lose California, it is IMPOSSIBLE for Hillary to win.

Poll: Giuliani Beats Dems in Swing States
CBN News
April 26, 2007

CBNNews.com — A new poll shows former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani beating top Democrat presidential contenders in three key swing states.

The survey by Quinnipiac University shows Giuliani with a sound lead over Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

Those states have been pivotal in presidential elections since 1964.

That poll comes as Democrats are taking aim at Giuliani for arguing that America could face a major terrorist attack if a Democrat is elected president.

“I listen a little to the Democrats and if one of them gets elected, we are going on defense,” Giuliani told a crowd at the Rockingham County Lincoln Day Dinner in Manchester, New Hampshire.

“We will wave the white flag on Iraq. We will cut back on the Patriot Act, electronic surveillance, interrogation and we will be back to our pre-September 11 attitude of defense,” he added.

Obama accused Giuliani of using “the politics of fear.”

And Hillary Clinton said protecting America is a “solemn responsibility,” regardless of party affiliation.

This is ridiculous considering the source. I don’t want Rooty as our candidate, but this guy.. he can stay out of it for the time and worry about his own party.

We are minding our own, and doing quite well.

Well Dean is a jerk but he’s probably not too far off base suggesting the personal attacks are going to get much worse as the campaign progresses. I’m just wondering how Rudy is going to respond to these attacks, he seems like the type to fly off the handle. Maybe Dean is on to something here, he’s the type to lose his cool too, and it takes one to know one. Rudy is probably safe in the primaries where his fellow republicans aren’t likely to stoop to that level of personal attack, but all bets are off in the presidential election. I doubt most of the electorate is aware of the various skeletons in Rudy’s closets, we had better see how this flies now before we give him the nomination or we may be in for an unpleasant surprise once voters find out later on.

His liberalism is a bigger problem but Dean will never admit to that one.

He didn’t talk. He said he would not get into it. He will let the Republicans get into it which they will DEFINITELY! I can’t wait for him to stumble and try to explain himself.

Well if that is the standard he advoctaes, he can take Hillary off the ballot right now.

Dean must be slipping if he wants family life to be the benchmark for a candidacy. He better check, I think his Monica is showing.

Isn't Dean's wife an abortionist? And doesn't he live on the proceeds of the business of killing babies?

Not worth listening to this foul POS.
