DEM DEAN FLINGS DIRT AT RUDY [It ain't dirt if it's truth and the man is proud of it!]
New York Post ^ | April 28, 2007 | CARL CAMPANILE

April 28, 2007 -- Rudy Giuliani's stormy personal life will be a "serious" liability in his campaign for president, Democratic National Committee boss Howard Dean charged yesterday.

"His personal life is a serious problem for him," Dean said in a CNN interview, adding that Giuliani "has a lot of character issues."

Dean's attack comes days after Giuliani claimed that the Democratic presidential hopefuls are surrendering in the war on Iraq and that America would be safer under a GOP president.

Ahhh, but as it was pointed out to my by the site owner - this level of discourse is more like the “good old days” at FR.

........................But you'll be just like the GOP leadership after their losses in 2006 - blame everyone but themselves.

Give me a ping after Rudy wins the general election. Then you can call me more names.

I've seen a lot of people act like moths to the flame recently.

Sad, but that's life.

Classic projectionism: You responded, they didn't. Your defense mechanism is showing.

Oh fer gawdsakes, you were expecting Giuliani, Hillary or Bubba to 'respond'?

YOU made the ad hominem comment directed at ME about 'leaving my haughty arrogance in the bedroom'!

You made a bonehead post, compounded by a bonehead ad hominem, and if anyone is in need of a 'defense mechanism', it would be you, due to your repeated (dare I say it?) BONERS.

Go away and get your logic gland checked out, it is clearly not functioning.

I’m no victim. But you seem a little odd...

EVERY liberal sees oddness in the Conservative movement. No surprise you would make a comment like that. Blackbird.

A Ph.D., especially one from the University of Chicago, means one is trained to think.

It apparently taught you to think Rudy is against abortion on demand, because of what? That's right, because you say he is opposed to third-trimester abortions and now is against the PBA ban.

That same training, however, allows you to discard his past support of Clinton's veto of a PBA ban, his perfect ratings from NARAL and Planned Parenthood, his addressing NARAL twice, his declaration that public funding of abortion is a right, that abortion is a Constitutional right, and his declaration that he would pay for his granddaughter's abortion.

I'd heard that the value of a college education had gone down. I had no idea just how much until now.

I know that’s threatening to some.

Threatening? If your PhD allows you to delude yourself to the level you've demonstrated, I'll stick with my Oklahoma State schooling.

"FR has always bashed and banished liberals and those who support them."

Not like this.

And, the "bashing and banishing" hasn't just been reserved for those FReepers who are alleged, or admitted to be, "liberals."

In one thread, for example, I was bashed, and I never once mentioned anything about Rudy. I simply mentioned that I didn't care for the tone of the discussion and that my primary concern in life at this moment was seeing that the Global War/WOT/Third World War/etc. continue unabated and in earnest until victory is achieved. So, does that make me a liberal too?

If Rudy splits the party, will you come back with mea culpas?

I doubt it. You'll just blame the damn right-wingers for not buying into Rudy's liberalism.

Rudy isn’t splitting anything.

If he gets the votes to win the primary, it’s more a coming together.

If you split, it’s you that chooses to go.

Ain't that a kick in the head?

The guy has a PhD but deludes himself into thinking that Rudy is against abortion on demand because Rudy now supports a PBA ban - even though he supported Clinton's veto of a PBA ban and has perfect NARAL and Planned Parenthood ratings.

Man, if I had kids in Penn State in his class, I'd ask the school administration for a tuition refund.

Reagan was divorced once. He handled the situation like a gentleman, and if you ask his son Michael, it’s not a divorce that he wanted.

Rudy divorced twice. Both times he acted with the class of an Islamic mullah text messaging his wife “I’m divorcing you” three times before moving on to his next political whore.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this by someone, but I honestly don't care anymore.

LOL! RIGHT turn Clyde! I'm sure Conservatism get's the goat of some. I honestly don't (never did) care anymore. There are plenty of places one can promote liberalism. Seek and ye shall find. Blackbird.

Just like I figured. It's not your fault for pushing someone from the far left of the party.

The DEM party fears a Rudy match up against Hillary...and whenever the DEMS fear something we should all rejoice.

Instead all this constant bickering among us has "you know who" laughing so hard she is splitting the seams of her pantsuit.

I'm all for pushing the virtues of a truly conservative candidate. But, the manner in which it is being done (e.g., snide remarks in thread headlines, personal attacks, baiting comments like "keep it up...", and basically leaving zero ground for professional discussion) is disappointing and is in league with the discourse seen on some of the more radical left-wing sites.

I don't recall your indignation at such behavior when the now departed RudyBots and stealth-RINOs were trashing true conservatives, slandering Ronald Reagan, and attacking those who believe in the sanctity of human life, sneering at them as 'one issue voters', etc.

The fact is, Jim tolerated those Rudyphiles and their disruptive tactics far longer than anyone could reasonably have expected him to. And when push came to shove, those same disrupters not only persisted in their slanders against conservatives and conservative values in order to promote their boy Rudy, they began to assail Jim himself, daring him (both figuratively *and* literally in some cases) to ban them. Those who are no longer with us, are no longer here because THEY made that choice (guess you could call them true 'pro-choicers', they CHOSE to leave FR).

What’s next calling me a troll or a rudi bot?

Frankly every time I see a conservative attacking a republican the same way a liberal would I just wonder.

I bet you are one of the conservatives that wanted to send a message by not voting for republicans 2006.

The primaries will tell the story.

If the anti-Rudy faction is as large as you believe, he won't BE the nominee.

If he IS the nominee, then you don't have the support you think you do.

In any event, as they say, "that's why they play the games".
