The blogger/author, Bill Hobbs, is an early Fred! booster, so bear that in mind. I like to visit ElephantBiz.com for what Hobbs calls "The Daily Fred."

CNN has zero credibility in my book. I will just move along as there is nothing to see here.

Only 10 percent said they backed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, which put him three points behind former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson, who hasn't officially entered the race. Fred better run d@mn it!
The biggest reason, IMO, that Fred is doing so well as a non-candidate is that he's a strait talker and isn't out to "snow" anyone.
He says it the way he sees it and it's refreshing to see such a quality in a politician/candidate these days.

Time for Duncan Hunter to take the lead!
The other President from California did very very well.
Hunter the Californian may not be a ACTOR (and thats a good thing)
But he is as Conservative as “the other actor”.

It is still more than 1/2 a year before the first primary votes are even cast.
Allot can happen in that time.
Being a front-runner at this stage means little. Historically, some other front-runners have ended up not even making it to their convention.
Until January, the field is wide open and all these ‘who is ahead today’ polls are nothing more than news channels trying to make news, rather than report it.

Giuliani’s problem is his position on key issues.

Rudy needs to be more moderate.
He's tap dancing in that direction.

Yah, but the good news is that the three Republican candidates who have publically stated they don’t believe in evolution are way, way down on the list.
To: TomGuy
He can’t, he’s tap dancing off a cliff. Rudy is the MSM’s choice, not the GOP’s base. They can’t pick.
