What are you suggesting? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

The impressive thing here is the SPEED of this response. The fact that his “nonexistent” campaign became aware of Moores challenge, worked through their options, scripted, and then filmed this brilliant little piece of internet footage only goes to show how very much in the race Thompson really is.
Not to mention the fact that while other Republican wannabees are trying to seperate themselves from each other, Thompson is harpooning liberal whales. Thompson hasn’t even announced and he is so far ahead of the game that it’s amazing.

A mental institution, Michael, you might want to think about that....
I’m still cracking up.
I wonder if it is a Cuban cigar.

I don’t think montecristos come from Cuba. there are varieties from the dominican republic that aren’t bad

I dont think montecristos come from Cuba. there are varieties from the dominican republic that arent badMontecristos are one of the premier Cuban brands. They're still made there as well as in the DR. The Cuban cigars are sold in countries without trade embargoes against Cuba. The DR cigars are sold here as elsewhere.

The only thing to ask this idiot it this:
How many of the 9/11 heroes that you used as props for your movie were cured by the far superior Cuban medical care?

The cigar was an in-your-face to Michael Moore who made a big deal in the debate challenge letter about the rumor that Fred Thompson likes Cuban cigars. That’s the best part of the whole video, if you get the inside joke.

I’m just assuming here, but I think Fred’s cigar is a subtle way of telling Moore to shove it... ;^)

I love that he responded so quickly to this. I don’t think liberals are accustomed to a low down response from a conservative. I like it

I wouldn’t be surprised if Fred is smoking the dominican ones anyway. Everyone just assumed they are Cuban because they are Montecristos. Besides, the DR ones are now almost as good anyway, and are of better consistency.
