After Action report, West Point Gathering of Eagles, May 26, 2007 I arrived at 0600 to Highland Falls to greet Jim O'Mally from Gathering of Eagles already there and ready to go! I told him I would return after getting breakfast and then ran into Carolyn and Fernando who escorted me to the starting pint of the leftist rally.

We stood across from their point in front of the crane that was used to hoist up a 20' American Flag for all the families to see.

We immediately opened up our signs and flags for the incoming families to see. Unfortunately, the majority of the families were entering at the main gate off rte 9W South, so we only greeted a few hundred cars! :)

WE had an overwhelming positive response to our flags and signs that told the visitors of our love of the Army, our Country, and welcomed them to this wonderful, once in a lifetime event: their child's graduation.

After most of the family cars entered, the moonbats had amassed about 100 people, and one of them started to stand with us, carrying his RUN, DICK RUN sign.

I immediately went to a police officer to ask him to be removed, and they unfortunately dissembled. They called a supervisor who explained that he had the right to stand with us. I tried to explain to him that their presence would only lead to fights and potential violence, but he didn't believe it, unfortunately. He did after the next hour!

The head person of the anti-war rally, Bennet, tried to explain the same thing to the officer, and to the man with the sign, but neither listened to him, either. My hat is off to Bennet; we are different sides of the political fence, but he had the smarts to know we were best kept separated.

While chanting slogans meant to support our troops and our families, and, yes, some to tweak the moonbats, too, several female moonbats tried to enter our standing area with their anti-freedom/war signs. We tried to be civil, but they were pushing and shoving, and starting arguments.

The head person for the anti-war group, identified as "Bennet', smartly and professionally, tried to get these people to move to the other side to avoid violence. For some time they seemed to take turns doing this, each time papering a little bolder.

It was around this time that their appearances were making the Police nervous, and they stated to refuse some of the moonbats to come over. While a few were allowed to stay at different times, many were turned away. Those who tried to stay could not keep up with their own comments made to us, trying to show pictures of what were supposed to be injured Iraqi Children, and being reminded that they had not one picture of a wounded American from 9/11 or an active duty serviceman.

One of the moonbats tried to grab my megaphone and run away with it, but the police stopped her, and she took off running to the moonbat side. Another male moonbat tried to poke one of our Eagles in the stomach with his sign, almost starting a melee, which the Police had to break up with short notice, but with no arrest or forceful movement.

During this time I had the megaphone and constantly reminded the moonbat side of their hypocritical stand on peace knowing they never marched for peace anywhere in the world except when they were against the US.

I also reminded the moonbat crowd that their actions that day proved all the points I was making all along: that they aren't for peace, they are an inherently violent crowd incapable of controlling their passions and their women are more violent than their men. :)

They did a march to the front gate and back, and then myself and Doctor Raoul did a routine; me the straight man, Doctor the master of information; educating the moonbats on the origin and doctrine of the moonbat groups, such as United for Peace and justice and their anti-Semitism and open calls for unconditional support of the Mujahadeen in Iraq against American Military forces. The moonbats began to leave about that point, but some listened.

I am not sure how many will research what we said, but we repeated several websites for them to look at, including http://www.discoverthenetworks.org .

I can’t thank you enough for what you guys and gals do.
I always say I’m going to go to one of these and i never get there. I am going to try real hard in the future because If I can make one other military family proud to see the support they do have it will make my day.
Thanks Again!

Kerry has a Class of '08 West Pointer as an intern.

That reminds me of Patrick O'Neal's and Brandon De Wilde's characters in "In Harm's Way", as a former Congressman, Washington sycophant, and John Wayne's estranged son that was taken in by the sleazy creep for a time.

I hope the cadet gets wise by his senior year.

Moonbat Kathy Devlin looks like Moonbat Rachel Corrie. That stupid look must be hereditary to Moonbats.
