My sister in law has a child fighting in Afghanistan. She wrote letters to congressmen, senators, wrote the president. And nothing changed. It does not matter of a handful of people think the war is illegal or not, their kids died in service to the country. Once enlisted, they had little choice but to serve. It is not that they got what they deserved. They also served. They also paid the price for our freedom. And they are deserving of comfort for their loss.
I served in Viet Nam. Please come and tell me to MY FACE how stupid I was to go and fight there. Please do. I dare you to tell me about that “illegal war”.

Just noted that right after Edwards said that people should protest against the war on Memorial Day, a few nut caaes seemed to be acting on his suggestion.
