Man who lied about actions in Iraq admits faking forms

Jesse MacBeth stoked opposition to the Iraq war in 2006 when he spoke out about atrocities he committed as a U.S. Army Ranger serving as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
MacBeth, 23, of Tacoma, claimed to have killed more than 200 people, many at close range, some as they prayed in a mosque. He spoke at an anti-war rally in Tacoma and appeared in a 20-minute anti-war video that circulated widely on the Internet.
Trouble is, none of MacBeth's claims was true. He made it through only six weeks of Army basic training, was never a Ranger and never set foot in Iraq.
Conservative bloggers exposed MacBeth's lies in May 2006, destroying his credibility and embarrassing the Seattle company that produced the video about his exploits.

Because the propogandic damage is already done. The point wasn’t whether what he said was actually TRUE, it’s the attack on President BUSH that was important.
Any of the Media that covered this guy’s bullsh... could have EASILY confirmed if it was factual, but they CHOSE not to, because what he claimed matched the pre-approved editorial content.

Activists only believe what they want to believe and will take as truth any statement, no matter how questionable, spewed by people who share their own beliefs and political goals. This is why people like Jesse MacBeth, and the production companies that help spread this kind of message, are dangerous to the security and stability of our country.
Does anyone else realize what a commercial the lousy, traitorous puke's story would make? It could help reverse some of the propaganda damage. Maybe teh suit should demand he be forced to pay to make that commercial and for it's airing nationwide. ANSWER had deep pockets. SURELY they'll help him out.

One fond memory was sitting in a booth when several members of the SEAL brotherhood called "BS" on somebody at the bar.
those guys fight dirty....bwahahahahahaha.....maybe it was "fake" SEAL's kicking the crap out of a "real" SEAL.... but I doubt it.
