If Cheney could come up with a bionic heart, he would be my number one choice for president.
When I heard Fred being interviewed by the Hoover scholar, it made me think of Cheney at the VP debates. Casual brilliance.

They are trying to get Cheney removed so that when they impeach Bush, Pelosi gets to be President.

Boy, you’re right. Old Sally, grand dame of DC hosteses, just can’t keep her hands out of her husband’s (Ben Bradlee - Washington Post Vice President At Large and the newspaper’s former executive editor) pot, although I’m sure he’s not a reluctant accomplice.
I also find her position as co-writer “On Faith” totally laughable.

They’re still so afraid of big, bad Cheney. So for the Washington COMpost, speculation now passes for news. Disgraceful.

Methinks a lot of people missed the “almost.” He has become so focused on this issue that everything, including Iraq, seems to be neglected lately.

Of course, the moonbats want to impeach both Bush AND
Cheney. That would make Nancy Pelosi president (God
forbid). The only upside to that scenario would be the resulting cat fight between Pelosi and Hillary for the oval office
Man, that’s what I’ve been thinking. Pelosi wants to sneak in ahead of Hillary. Cat fight, exactly what I was thinking. Does anyone know what their relationship is? Has Pelosi ever supported Hillary?

Thanks, Mom...;)
This sounds like a hit piece on Fred Thompson to me.
Thats who it would hurt the most, if this lame brained asinine idea ever come to fruition.
Actually, isn't this a favorite trick of the marxist regimes?
Annoint the predecessor by removing someone and placing the anointed in that position?
These people are scared.
They are scared of Fred Thompson, and they are most assuredly afraid of the conservative grassroots movement.

That ploy would be looked upon with great disdain by the American people; starting with me.
Why not get Dubya to resign and let Cheney become the Prez for the next year and a half. That would drive the moonbats into bowel orgasms.

You have to have basis for impeachment, which doesn’t exist. Being upset with the President is not basis. This article is fantasy. But then the Left is based on wishful thinking. I too, am upset about the amnesty, but I would never vote for impeachment because 1) we are at war, and 2)it aides the Democrat agenda. I prefer to look at the bigger picture.

I agree there is no basis. I was trying to say that it might at least prove a distraction. But I was not advocating it.
