On a personal note, you've all been wonderful in your passion, vigilance, and commitment to the principles on which our country was founded. If I have to be in a foxhole, I want to be in it with you guys.

Keep in mind that Durbin represents a state that has one of the highest numbers of illegal immigrants of any U.S. state. The fact that Illinois has more illegal immigrants than any state between Mexico and Ontario (other than Texas) should make people realize what is driving these immigration patterns.

Sure, happily..Sessions was nominated for an appellate court judgeship...Leahy, when the Dems controlled the Senate, would not let him come up for a vote..so Sessiosn went back hoem and ran for the Senate, and won..
