You're absolutely correct - and it isn't just the amnesty issue. Look at how the government pushes through all kinds of unpopular and unnecessary legislation. We wouldn't have the mandatory seat belt laws if we were watching them like a hawk.
What's sad is that we supposedly send these morons to Washington to represent us, and yet if we aren't extremely vocal, they will screw us over every chance they get. This amnesty issue is just a shining example.
It's apparent that we must hold their feet to the fire all the time.
OF COURSE THEY ARE. The more students, legal or illegal, the more "ed biz" so-called "professionals" that are needed to "educate" them.
the lib/dems and no cajones republicans will say...it is for the children......
of course jorge bush thinks he is moses...leading the children of mexico to the promised land!!!!
the shamnesty bill failed....if the educators try to get around it...cut off all the funding....they will all scurry away like the roaches in the light that they are!!!
“They may be a little hard of hearing, but theyre not totally deaf as we saw the other day.”
Keep pummeling the phone lines. Notice how it is now business as usual? The RINOs and Democrats want to get as far away from this as possible.
Now is the time to strike. Keep calling.
Used to be, they could serve a hitch in the military and get citizenship. Not a bad idea.
Sorry to inform you, it's not your money.
The paper money we use is a Federal Reserve Note
which is owned by a private members only banking club.
Maybe this is why capitol hill isn't hearing the pleas
of common American people. The more illegal
aliens that become Americans citizen, the more
people can pay back those US treasure bonds.
Fractional-reserve banking it what it is.
This illegal immigration problem maybe
the way Bush will conquer Mexico.
There is something fundamentally wrong with a government that provides better representation and superior services to lawbreaking foreigners here illegally than to the citizens who obey the laws and pay the bills.
1. The DREAM Act - in-state tuition and free health care for illegals, privileging them over law abiding citizens
2. The HOPE Act - $5M to La Raza in 2008, $10M every year after
3. The North American Investment Fund - using taxpayer dollars to build roads and schools in Mexico to make them more competitive with American workers
Think of it as a GWOT (Global War on Tyranny); like the war on terror, there are a number of actions already taken which failed to get our attention (eg SPP/NAU), but the Amnesty bill is our domestic 9/11. We are now engaged, and there will be public actions and many private actions, and this fight will go for years, and even decades; but we must pursue victory at all costs over this enemy. This is a fight for our children’s future, and it’s a fight our children must take up, as well...(IMHO)
I agree, if you are here legally, military service should be a fast path to citizenship. But if you are here illegally, this is a reward for law-breaking (and an extra burden on the armed services).
