Stopping comprehensive amnesty was great. But the next stage of the battle is to stop the provisions of the bill from being enacted a piece at a time. The victory the other day was a great defensive victory, but it's time to hold the government's feet to the fire and demand real enforcement and border control before they can lull us back to business as usual

We MUST stop the racist DREAM ACT, which would grant in-state tuition to those who break the law, while punishing Americans from other states who have to pay MORE for their education. NO TO MINI-AMNESTY!!!

You can’t stop it all, only delay it. This will pass as a face saving measure. We can attach some enforcement to it. Perhaps we can get the Senate to agree to paint our side of the fence at some future date....If funds are available...

One Latino group is gathering support from Washington educators on a bill that would allow students to become permanent legal residents.

Yea, if it passes (NOT) next thing you know there are 12-20-40-60........million students!

"Sanchez says he has gotten numerous letters of support from school districts and education associations across the state."

OF COURSE THEY ARE. The more students, legal or illegal, the more "ed biz" so-called "professionals" that are needed to "educate" them.

Used to be, they could serve a hitch in the military and get citizenship. Not a bad idea.

3 Acts which should be immediately opposed (contact your representatives!) are:

1. The DREAM Act - in-state tuition and free health care for illegals, privileging them over law abiding citizens

2. The HOPE Act - $5M to La Raza in 2008, $10M every year after

3. The North American Investment Fund - using taxpayer dollars to build roads and schools in Mexico to make them more competitive with American workers
