The city of Littleton will unveil a controversial statue honoring a fallen Navy Seal.
Danny Dietz was killed in Afghanistan.
His family here in Colorado raised enough money to put up a bronze sculpture in Berry Park, to honor him and other war heroes.
Earlier this year some neighbors objected to the statue because it shows Dietz holding an automatic rifle.
The ceremony unveiling the statue was scheduled to happen at 11:00 a.m. MDT Wednesday morning.
What boobs. Gag!!!!
Damn! Soldiers carry rifles? Who’s responsible for this outrage!!!
Even Fox had a bimbo asking folks whether they were offended at the gun. Disgusting.

Jackasses one and all. I suppose he could have been armed with a tulip.
I was not there, I can only speculate.
Fox News Channel isn’t conservative: “Even employees of Fox News, which is widely regarded as a conservative channel, donate 81 percent of their contributions to Democrats.”

It's so detailed it looks as if the soldier is going to take a step forward, and as if the Enfield is ready to fire.
My grandfather went up to Canada to enlist to fight in WWI as the US Army wouldn't take him due to a repaired hernia.
He was a civil engineer in the Canadian Army.
Any time one wants to see what his uniform and gear looked like, just have to drive up to the center of Magog.
The morons in Littleton CO who can't stand even the likeness of a gun need to get a life.
My brother who lives in Littleton just got back from the park, where he placed an American Flag by the statue. :)
The language of the First and Second Ammendments is absolute. "Congress shall make no law..." "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The exceptions to those statements are all inventions of activist judges. Letting judges get away with such dishonesty gives them license to to do it again, whenever they wish, with impunity. We will suffer the unintended consequences of such judge-created exceptions ever more painfully as time goes on.
Rights that are not both equal and reciprocal have no solid foundation. Their internal logical contradictions eventually lead to their dissolution.
The people who are ‘upset’ need to get a life.
I guess if America were ever invaded thtey’d not want our troops our ourselves to defend the country.
Newsflash: Soldiers carry weapons. Without their weapons they’d just be playing dress-up.
GROW UP People.
Good grief.
Thank your brother for us!

I’m offended by types like these who would be offended.
Can I ask that they are asked to move to another country?
Stupid, stupid liberals.
My hometown has a war memorial statue of a soldier holding a rifle. At the base of the statue is a small garden area. The keepers of the garden occasionally spell out a word with the flowers. Back along it said “Peace.” Bad enough but they followed that a year or so later with “Recycle.” Not sure what that has to do with the theme.
I watched the unveiling of this statue today on FoxNews. It was fine, beautiful and very moving. Fox interviewed a young boy during the ceremony - maybe 10 to 12 years old - and he said he had no problem with the soldier holding a gun. This young man is more intelligent than those opposing the gun. God Bless our military and God Bless America.
Simple... Kill the Islamic Terrorists, put their bodies inside hogs skins, bury them and watch the flower bloom!
