The President and the first lady spent the weekend at Camp David returning to the White House on Sunday afternoon.

Today the President addressed the White House Conference on the Americas in Arlington VA

This evening the President and the First Lady attended a going away party for Dan Bartlett at the Blair House

I am feeling better but the medical problem is not resolved fully yet. I am dragging very badly - no energy today.

My friend, the lady I told you was visiting Washington arrived there at Port Orchard and was offered a job at Anchorage and yesterday was salmon fishing there near Anchorage.
Lisa Crum is apparently settled successfully on the reservation here as I have not heard any more from her. I plan to look her up next time I visit the reservation. I would like to meet her.

Strange goings on in my email I know I have sent you at least 2 in the last 4 or 5 days but not appearing in the sent or outgoing boxes.

We took Rex in to this specialty vet hospital. It's really quite a place! Rex will be in surgery this morning. These Vets really know their stuff, and we aren't worried on the surface, but he's such a little guy...and I'm such a softy for puppies/dogs...ESpecially Dachshunds.

Thanks in advance for any kind thoughts coming little Rex's way. God is good, and I know he loves little Rex very much. Me too.
