This is great news! It means that the diet and nutrition of other nations has caught up with that of the USA.

Exactly. And no where in the article is there mention of the American role in creating, facilitating, and distributing wealth -- and along with it the high-protein diets -- for the rest of the world, especially in Asia where the most dramatic height gains have been occurring.

I was 5’7” at my high school graduation, age 17.

At my college graduation 4 and a half years later...

...I was 5’7.

My dad was 5’5” when he graduated from H.S. (to be fair, I should tell you, he was 16 when he graduated.)

He was 6’4” when he graduated from college.

That's very sweet, and thanks for the thought. However, what I finally decided to do is this: If I couldn't beat the shorter men (off with a stick), I decided to join (one of) them.

Seriously, this is no joke. I always had a better response from the shorter men than from the taller men. Not sure why, but I have my own pet theories.

I dated a woman who was 6'. Eventually married a woman who is 5'8". What I like most about tall women is their loooong legs!

Absolutely. Check the life spans for these newly tall peoples. You will find they are living longer too. It’s all about cheap food and not being malnourished, particularly for children.
