If you folks took the time to read the very early replies you'll find 'the answer'.
We have the highest percentage of employment in the nation's history...at 95.5%.
That's considered FULL EMPLOYMENT.
The remaining 4.5% are simply UNEMPLOYABLE and would never hold a job...let alone take one.
You're being illogical that those 4.5% would accept the menial jobs currently being done by illegals....over twenty million of them.
President Bush is using simple math in justifying his warning that we'll soon have a server labor shortage.

President Bush is using simple mathFirst, this is a given that the math could be nothing but simple. However it is commonly known that the unemployment figures are B.S. and cannot stand up to scrutiny. Before you ask for a cite let me remind you that some things are self evident and to refute them a cite is not required.
For example, if I cite that all Americans smoke cigarettes you don't need a cite as we ALL know that all Americans don't smoke. If you want a cite go find it and try to find an honest one to refute my B.S. claim.
Refute the figures in my post# 493 that has been avoided by all of the OBL.

They would not just have to accept them, they would have to move to where the jobs are. People should really do a little research on the Okeys of the dust bowl era. They were a native labor force that displaced the Mexicans throughout the west. This has all played out before.
The most important step to solving the problem with illegals is to fill the jobs with legal immigrants or legal temporary workers, millions of them. Nobody wants to hear that, but as long as there are jobs left unfilled, illegals will come to fill them.

Well then, I stand corrected, let us continue to NOT enforce our employment laws or secure our borders. Silly me, WTF was I thinking.

we'll soon have a server labor shortage. It's already hard enough for restaurants to find good servers. ;)
