I hope somebody mentions to this leftoid hater that these kids will all grow up to be Christian Republicans.
Most law students have already completed a bachelors degree. However, Californias minimum requirement is that students complete at least two years of college-level work (60 semester credits) with a GPA equal to or above that required for graduation. Alternatively, you may prove that you have intellectual ability equal to a college student in his second year by passing subject matter examinations with scores accepted by the Committee.
The Juris Doctor - Attorney Track Program
The JDAT Program is presented through a distance education modality using telecommunications technology requiring no classroom or seminar attendance. Prior students have resided in all regions of the United States as well as in Asia and Europe.
The JDAT Program requires four years of study. Each year consists of a period of time of not less than 48 nor more than 52 consecutive weeks. While materials and instruction are presented in a non-traditional manner, it is an objective of the University to maintain criteria comparable to resident law programs with respect to program content and academic standards.
“All that water! And the soap! Think of the carbon footprint from all that oxygen they’re breathing.”...
And the dust they are making..don’t forget that dust...
Basically, it boils down to the disintegration of the family unit, the basic building block of civilization. It can only weaken us as a country.
I see you chose to ignore where I told you of my own large family, in which none of the dire consequences you spell out happened, nor have you any basis whatsoever for assuming that they’re occurring in this family. In fact, you have been given reason for knowing that they’re not-inasmuch as we ever know the whole truth about people we read about. What is with your insistence that this family, in the face of information showing otherwise, cannot take care of their family, their children? THEY PAY THEIR OWN WAY. Are you so young that you think it’s a crime and a sin if a married couple have children when they can’t provide them with the latest Nintendo games hot off the line? Is that what you mean by “providing for them”? The latest designer clothing? They have food, clothing, shelter, schooling-what do you consider “adequete” provision? None of this is at the tax-payer’s expense. Do you think it’s better to have 1-2 children, on the public dime, for whom you soak the taxpayers to provide with non-essential FUBU baby clothes, and the like? I think, all things considered, that you deserve a pass on this, because you sound very young, and a product of this culture, which isn’t your fault. You just don’t know, how could you, growing up with modern advertising and entertainment?
I worked with a man from a family of 16 children. His father never owned a car, never owned a house, and always worked two jobs. All 16 have college degrees, of which 13 are masters or doctoral degrees.
The writer tells one big lie: he can’t possibly have a friend named Parke. Who would associate with him.
Guess you have your work cut out for you. Better get on the phone reporting all the large Amish families. *GASP* They are only schooled through 8th grade!! EVIL!!
Certainly the best thing to do is to call a “benign” government agency to make them conform to YOUR standards.
I learned of this family on TLC or some other channel. 17 kids is a whole lot of kids. I know I could never do it. 4 is a lot for me though I would have loved to have more. However, she seems to be able to and he does too. Great for them! They’re not relying on government funds to support them so whatever their choices, it’s their business imo. The show I watched on tv was really interesting.
I admire this family. I don’t admire too many people that’s for sure.
This author is a low life, self righteous, uninformed, liberal idiot.
We need more people like this family, not less. We need less people like this author.
An attorney program after earning an AA - learn something new every day. Thanks for providing the information.
Went to the Dugger family website. The only negative thing, in my view, is mention of he and his wife being involved with some “financial freedom seminars” (only $125.00!!)I am always suspicious of those. Other than that, more power to them.
Apparently that seminar put them in the position of owning a large property and a house that has no mortgage. Maybe that’s why they think it’s a good thing.
If it’s the same one (I don’t remember the guys name) that my brother and his wife heeded, it’s worked the same miracle for them and their family. It was a kind of “tighten your belt, cut to the essentials” thing. They are less than a year away from being debt-free (with 2 children in high school and one in college), and paying off their home, plus savings.
I do well to remember the birthdays of 5 little ones, 17 would be unimaginable!
I watched the show on this family and they aren’t going to be welfare babies like this idiot thinks. The husband a good job and every one old enough to work in the family does. I think it’s a benefit for a community that these people are so hard work orientated.
Okay, here’s a thought for all the Paul Erlich disciples out there:
If you think there are too many people in the world, committ suicide. There, there’s that many fewer people and that many fewer idiots in the world.
What can I say, I’m full of useful solutions? :)
This person hates the conservative point of view, and the Duggars are a very conservative oriented family. This is what it’s really all about: attacking the Duggars political ideology.
The left in this country needs to spout off their pure hatred and insanity much more often such as this man did on his blog. In fact, he should be given front page coverage on this newspaper to view his venom. The best coverage the conservative viewpoint can get is to allow the left in this country to be seen in their full insipid glory.
You’d best learn what Conservatism is before you claim to be one and spew asinine irrelevancies on subjects that you’re woefully ill informed on.
Yeah maybe, but I can turn on late night/early morning tv and see a dozen infomercials with smarmy charecters pushing the same sort of scam.
