If you can feed ‘em, breed ‘em.
Ha! Good one!
Whatever you say, troll.
How do you know that they’re not that-admittedly uncommon these days-type of family who raised their children to respect their parents and their siblings, other adults, etc, and don’t need to be constantly “amused” by the parents or a sitter to make sure they’re not up to no good? And it doesn’t hurt a child’s happy childhood one jot to give them such duties as they are mature enough for, towards the home or their siblings. I doubt the mother is saying that she delegated her child-rearing duties to her children! There is a difference, you know, and a happy medium-people have totally forgotton about the “golden mean” in age of extremism!
I would say you don't know the average woman and how she handles her time during and after pregnancies. So maybe you are not an idiot but you are truly one ignorant piece of work!
ALL of my siblings, AND nieces/nephews who have children in college-the children have made their own way, in most cases, by a combination of scholarships and WORK. They are doing very well, and much appreciate their education, especially when they’re PAYING for it :)
Thank you.
On August 4th, Alan Bisbort, apparently stung by the volume and vitriol of public backlash to his post, chose to take it down, along with all the viewer comments, and replace with a new post, in which he delivers a perfunctory “left-handed” apology to the Duggar family for being “undiplomatic”.
Bisbort is also a columnist for the Hartford Advocate, and under color of his employment, chose to share his sentiments with the rest of the world on his newspaper’s blog. Bisbort wrote one of the most scurrilous, contemptuous, and disrespectful columns I’ve ever seen about a family who he’s never met. He even referred to Michelle Duggar as a “Queen Bitch”. But don’t just take my word for it - here it is. Note: The referred post has since been taken down and replaced by a different post, however, this was his original post exactly as it appeared (it was also cross-posted on the Vanguard News Network Forum and on the PC Apostate blog):

Same here, our network includes friends too. Clothes that kids have outgrown but aren't worn out are a valuable commodity.
I think most families recycle clothes in this way. It's as normal, natural, and non-blame-worthy as accepting a bag of apples from your neighbors, and giving them cupcakes in return.
Well said.
>>Overpoupulation is junk science from the 70s. If you assume an average family size of 4 people, you could give every family in the world 1 acre to live on and only use up 2/3 or the land of the USA.<<
I don’t think that is true any more.
Two billion acres and the world population is almost 7 billion.
3,537,441 (square miles) = 2,263,962,240 acres
But that’s 7.5 acres for each person in American or 8.2 for each citizen.
However, here's what I found out about fertility rates as reported by V Dare:
Total fertility rate, all races, US: 2.054
Total fertility rate, Hispanics, US: 2.877
Higher than the average US fertility rate, but not explosively higher.
And I think that after 1 - 2 generations here, it falls down to to the average.
In 50 years, the problem for BOTH the US and Mexico is going to be aging, rise in % of dependent elders, lack of entry-level people in the workforce.
The couple married just after she graduated from high school. He was 19, she 17. Neither went to college. Together, they launched a used-car business, then towing and real estate businesses. Both are licensed real estate agents.
The Duggars didnt start out to have 16 children or more. Early on, she took birth-control pills. After their first child, son Joshua, was born in 1988, Michelle Duggar began taking them again. Before long, she suffered a miscarriage they believed was caused by the birth control.
We were just shocked, Jim Bob Duggar said. We consider ourselves pro-life. We thought, What have we done? They decided to let God determine the size of their family. Fifteen children later, Michelle Duggar remains healthy and willing to keep having children. None of their children has health problems, and only one wears glasses.
The Duggars live temporarily in a 2,200-square-foot rented house along a busy street, not far from Interstate 540 in this town of about 50,000. They are building debt-free a 7,000-square-foot house in nearby Tontitown.
They dont adhere to a rigid schedule, but in an often-frenzied world with 18 people living in such tight quarters, there are daily imperatives: a midmorning Bible reading with Dad, home-school lessons with Mom.
Someone always seems to be snacking, usually on a large dill pickle, a family staple.
On a recent morning, the family gathers in its spartan living room, most sitting in a circle on the light tan carpet, their legs crossed. Opening a black leather- covered King James Bible, Jim Bob Duggar reads a chapter from Proverbs, then stops to drive home the meaning of verses that exhort truthful speech.
They joined hands for prayer.
The Duggars arent unusual simply because they have so many children. They also live a frugal existence that permits Jim Bob Duggar to spend most of his days, right now, with his older sons, putting the finishing touches on their new home. Michelle Duggar is a stay-at-home mom who takes the lead in home-schooling the children.
Greeting the media has become commonplace since the birth of the Duggars 16th child. They dont have a precise budget, Jim Bob Duggar said, but it takes about $5,000 a month to operate their household. They live off the rental income from commercial property they own debt-free.
They have no house or car payments and no credit cards. They purchase their clothes at a thrift store that benefits the homeless in northwest Arkansas. They eat out occasionally but take advantage of the dollar menus at fast-food restaurants or the 49-cent childrens meals at AQ (Arkansas Quality) Chicken, a local favorite once frequented by former President Bill Clinton. The three older girls give the boys haircuts.
Its the fruit of a financial freedom seminar Jim Bob Duggar attended years ago.
We havent had an overabundance, he said, but Gods always met our needs.
For example, when the family moves into its new home, TLC television will be there to film a program akin to the home-makeover reality shows. Sponsors are donating food for the pantry and appliances, such as washers and dryers. Then, Discovery Health is sending the Duggars on a trip west to Disneyland and a dude ranch.
Though thrilled with the help and the trip, the couples oldest daughter, 15-year-old Jana, said her family isnt welcoming the cameras because of the freebies or because the spotlight is coveted.
Were able to share with others about Christ and what hes done in our lives, she said, stressing the familys primary message: Children are a blessing and not a burden.
Joshua, the Duggars oldest son, finished high school at age 16. He passed the states test for a general equivalency diploma, or GED. He is considering applying to a California law school that permits distance learning. His goal: to enter politics.
I am so glad to see I am not the only one who posts 2 and 3 times. What’s better than a good comment? A good comment three times ....
The US adds a net gain of one person every 10 seconds, which includes one international migrant (net) every 27 seconds. We have added 100 million to our population since 1970 and will add another 62 million in the next 23 years or the equivalent of the current population of the UK.
The face of America is changing with one of the greatest mass migrations in history. Hispanics, 1 percent of the population in 1950, are now 14.4 percent. Their total number has soared 25 percent since 2000 alone. By 2050, one in four residents of this country will be Hispanic. Half the children 5 and younger in the United States are now minorities. Hispanics and blacks have the highest high school dropout rates, which doesn't bode well for our future.
Their family sounds so much like mine, except the home-schooling part. We went to Catholic school partly, and public school partly.
Good on them-the family is an inspiration. People are so used to hearing motherhood discussed only in the context of welfare mothers and teen pregnancy, that they’ve forgotten there’s any other kind. It just shows what people/families can be when their priorities are straight and they heed God’s will.
I'd take that a bit further and say that one of the worst things in view for our society is that people of character, intelligence, and responsibility, are being far outbred by those who drain, not contribute, to society as a whole.

Foul mouthed moron.
