17 is very impressive. I’d like to see her have a few more just for the novelty of it. And why not? When you got 17 rugrats, what’s a couple more? I’ve never heard of any woman having more than 15. All I can say is WOW! I’m impressed. Seventeen kids and they are actually all cared for. It’s amazing. I have no kids. I should send them a letter asking them to have one more as a favor to me to make up for me having none.
I lived across the street from a family of 17 when I was a kid. And 10 next door to them and 5 in the house on the other side. 32 kids in 3 houses. I used to be a bit contemptuous of that lifestyle, though not too much because I was friends with the ones close to my age. The mother seemed tired and the father very, very crabby. They were all just good Catholics. I wish I had a lot of kids.
