The United States has decided to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, the country's 125,000-strong military branch, as a "specially designated global terrorist," according to U.S. officials, a move that allows Washington to target the group's business operations and finances.

At least they did not call them the “elite” republican guard, or revolutionary guard.
I am so tired of the press calling iraqis or iranians or any of those towel heads, “elite”!
They have never done anything to achieve respect, but our press goes in lock step to praise these do nothing tin soldiers. They will never attempt to defeat the US military.
Only by planting bombs and suicide bombing can they make an impact.
As we always say, “bring it”!

To declare the military of a sovereign country as an enemy of the United States seems to me to be awfully close to a declaration of war. I sure hope Bush goes before Congress and seeks a declaration of war before attacking a sovereign nation (per Article 1, Section 8). Don't misinterpret me...I hate what the Iranians are doing to our troops in Iraq. But I hate even more those who would trample the US Constitution.
