Ron Paul Dominates Non-partisan Straw Poll

Washington D.C. 8/27/2007 5:20 PM GMT (FINDITT - Top Story)

USAElectionPolls.com has an audience of about 67,000 visitors per month according to the latest statistics by Quantcast -- making it the most visited polling website with the exception of RealClearPolitics. The web site has been having an online straw poll for three days on voters' preference for the 2008 election; both Democrats and Republicans are listed.

Ron Paul is leading the group of almost 20 candidates with 51%. Even more impressive is that he currently has 1744 votes while the second place candidate Dennis Kucinich has 613 votes -- 18%. Ron Paul leads the next closest Republican competitor in the online poll 51% to 3%.

Ordinarily, very little can be made of such results. They could be flukes. The web site's target audience could be Ron Paul, etc. But USAElectionPolls.com gets an immense amount of traffic all across the United States and it is a non-partisan website that talks about all of the candidates.

The poll is still open and can be found on the front page.

Then he's a first ever. The French have never kicked anyone's a$$.

If it wasn't for them, we'd still be speaking the Queen's English.

And RP fits right in with the white flag waiving frogs.

Sure he does. That's why he didn't complain when drafted & he's always been a staunch supporter of the military up until the current police mop-up action that's occurring now in Iraq.

I think that’s an insult to Buchanan.

This is not a true poll.

More objective than the MSM driven polls conducted on landline phones to senior citizens.

So the website was essentially “FReeped” by Paulites. BIG DEAL!

But you have no problem when FReepers used to "FReep" other internet polls, right?

If this is how Ron Paul proponents “prove” their guy is so electable, then they are truly lost.

No it just confirms that Paul is second to none in grassroots funding and activism.

When I watched the History Channel show about 9/11 being an inside job, I saw a Ron Paul supporter holding a sign during the “big” 9/11 was an inside job rally. Does Ron Paul feel that 9/11 was an ‘inside job’, or just his supporters?

You're sure about that are you? And just when did they fight the Revolutionary War for us?

“Non partisan” poll. The dems are playing with us. Hope nobody falls for it.

I'd say it was a bit overdone for anyone to fall for it.   LOL

yeah....ok

Please explain to me how Paul is going to split the GOP when he stated to his wife that he will not run as a 3rd party candidate. Then again, maybe he should. Payback for years of the GOP establishment supporting RINOs or Democrats against him in his Congressional races.

It confirms that Ron Paul deserves to win a poll sponsored by Comedy Central.

OK then. Geesh. I really wasn't in the mood.

He'll run as long as he can as a Republican, then when the cash stream dries up, he'll go Third Party because none of the remaining candidates are "pure" enough, and he'll just go on being a jerk.

Like Pat Buchanan. Except Pat can't write pork earmarks into spending bills in Congress.

Like Paul.

That is all.

That's like saying Hillary supports the FairTax because somebody held up a FairTax sign at one of her rallies.

Does Ron Paul feel that 9/11 was an ‘inside job’

No, he doesn't.

or just his supporters?

No, we don't.

Re-enroll back in elementary school and read history.

And just when did they fight the Revolutionary War for us?

Interesting that your choice of comparisons was Hillary instead of, oh say, Fred Thompson.

I’m just sayin......

Look, I get a kick out of libs going crazy over online polls. So, if you Ron Paul supporters want to put all of your eggs in the ‘online poll’ basket, have at it.

OK then. Geesh. I really wasn't in the mood.

Whew, now I can breathe easier. I was scared for a moment there.

He'll run as long as he can as a Republican

And give the establishment the fits.

then when the cash stream dries up

Paul has more cash on hand than all candidates except Fred/Rudy/Romney & is the only candidate with no debt

he'll go Third Party because none of the remaining candidates are "pure" enough

He already said he wouldn't. Unlike Rudy McRomney, Paul doesn't lie.

and he'll just go on being a jerk.

Yeah because he's really running for President just to piss people off.

Like Pat Buchanan. Except Pat can't write pork earmarks into spending bills in Congress.

More earmark BS that's already been proven a lie.

Of course not. EEE's the plagiarist.

It figures a Paulbearer like you would have it absolutely through the looking glass backwards.

That's not exactly true. Jim Condit, Jr is a Ron Paul supporter. He believes 9/11 was an 'inside job'. He believes it was a Zionist conspiracy. There are others like him who support Ron Paul.
