Big Source of Clinton's Cash Is an Unlikely Address (Caught!)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 8/28/07 | BRODY MULLINS

DALY CITY, Calif. -- One of the biggest sources of political donations to Hillary Rodham Clinton is a tiny, lime-green bungalow that lies under the flight path from San Francisco International Airport.

Six members of the Paw family, each listing the house at 41 Shelbourne Ave. as their residence, have donated a combined $45,000 to the Democratic senator from New York since 2005, for her presidential campaign, her Senate re-election last year and her political action committee. In all, the six Paws have donated a total of $200,000 to Democratic candidates since 2005, election records show.

That total ranks the house with residences in Greenwich, Conn., and Manhattan's Upper East Side among the top addresses to donate to the Democratic presidential front-runner over the past two years, according to an analysis by The Wall Street Journal of donations listed with the Federal Election Commission.

It isn't obvious how the Paw family is able to afford such political largess. Records show they own a gift shop and live in a 1,280-square-foot house that they recently refinanced for $270,000. William Paw, the 64-year-old head of the household, is a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service who earns about $49,000 a year, according to a union representative. Alice Paw, also 64, is a homemaker. The couple's grown children have jobs ranging from account manager at a software company to "attendance liaison" at a local public high school. One is listed on campaign records as an executive at a mutual fund.

The Paws' political donations closely track donations made by Norman Hsu, a wealthy New York businessman in the apparel industry who once listed the Paw home as his address, according to public records. Mr. Hsu is one of the top fund-raisers for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign.

They are busted. And every outlet or blogger that offers apologist b.s. in response is stone cold outed, too.

Thanks for the research mewzilla. Not trying to tell you what to do, but I would humbly suggest actually posting the donation records on FR so an archived record is kept versus just linking, and possibly include a running total of the dollar amount.

You seem to be pretty handy at finding these records, do you know if the entire databases can be obtained?

Rudy could have beaten Hillary, at the least made her look bad, but no he was too scared to run against her.

From that link: This is just reason 58,267,983,001 why we need public campaign financing...

Yeah. Right, Ken in MN. The fact that Clintonistas already skirt existing campaign financing laws is apparently lost on him.

“It’s not like she’s ever going to be prosecuted for it. She’s a CLINTON, after all, and it’s obvious by now that they are above the law, and the MSM will agree...”

That’s why one of the primary goals of anyone working to protect the US is to push harder and harder and harder for more MSN accountability. This should include concerted efforts to identify illegalities by the MSN (e.g. inappropriate entanglements, leaking of national security info, purposefully trying to overthrow a sitting government, etc.). I’m not talking about making up what isn’t there, ever. I’m talking about shining a light on what is most definitely there.

Yeah, and we'll have crony bureaucrats approving or denying candidates' campaign expenditures. Lovely.

I’ve been pulling the records from the FEC, newsmeat. Haven’t been to opensecrets.org yet. There are plenty of resources and back-ups available. I’d be interesting to see how much money the Paws have been funneling to any other states. Wonder if Spitzer’s heard about their contribution to Cuomo yet? Though considering how much water Spitzer’s carrying for the Toons, he probably doesn’t wanna go there...

Daily Kos is claiming it's nothing more than anti-Chinese-surname bigotry. LOL!

The Pavlovian circle-the-wagons mentality which instantly afflicts the Left anytime the Clintons are linked to any kind of trouble can't possibly be a simple coincidence. I really do think it's a form of mass hypnosis.

No. I’ve looked for all Norman Hsu’s companies, and none are to be found on the web.
