Tancredo Trails Top Dems by Double Digits
Rasmussen Reports ^ | August 29, 2007 | Rasmussen Reports

GOP Congressman Tom Tancredo has a lot of catching up to do. The first Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey gauging support for Tancredo's long-shot presidential candidacy shows him trailing New York Senator Hillary Clinton by thirteen percentage points. He also trails Illinois Senator Barack Obama by seventeen.

The poll shows Clinton with a 50% to 37% advantage while Obama tops Tancredo 48% to 31%. Other long-shot Republicans have proved more competitive in match-ups with Clinton than Tancredo. The former First Lady has never managed double-digit leads in any Rasmussen Reports match-up between her and Sam Brownback, Mike Huckabee, or Chuck Hagel. Only Ron Paul fares worse against Clinton than Tancredo, trailing her 34% to 49% in a July survey.

“Maybe his “Nuke Mecca” comment didn’t sit well with the sane?”

Why is it that some freepers have more animosity against the conservative candidates than they do against the commie dims?

What presidential candidate or candidates do you believe would make a good president?

Exactly.

Rep. Tancredo nevery said anything about nuking Mecca. The holy Kaaba could be destroyed easily with a few conventional bombs.

If Islamic terrorists intend to detonate nuclear devices in seven or eight U.S. cities, they should be made to understand that a consequence of killing millions of innocent Americans could be the destruction of their holy sites.

‘What presidential candidate or candidates do you believe would make a good president?’

Haven’t made up my mind about who I’ll support, just who I know won’t win, and those I know I won’t vote for.

They are so afraid that an actual conservative will get the nomination that they lie and distort everything he says to make him sound radical.

You lie about Rep. Tancredo using the word “nuke” in relation to Mecca, but are afraid to name even one candidate for president that you believe would make a good president. Not surprising.

‘You lie about Rep. Tancredo using the word “nuke” in relation to Mecca,’

Nope. Sorry we’ve all heard the quote, seen it in printe multiple times.

” but are afraid to name even one candidate for president that you believe would make a good president.”

I’m in no hurry to pick who I’ll vote for.

btw, I don’t fear anything that walks.

’ Not surprising.’

Stick to the old man’s golf circuit.
