We're the Men's Department.

LOL!

One of the perky morning infobabes, I forget which network, interviewed a Marine sniper recently. He had recently returned from his 3rd tour of Iraq. She asked him what he felt when he had to shoot somebody. The crusty Marine thought about it for a second and replied "Recoil". I nearly soiled myself while I was rolling round on the floor laughing. The infobabe sat there for several seconds in stunned silence.....

Heh. Reminds me of an interview a couple of years ago with a Finnish sniper from WWII. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name offhand. The reporter-ette asked him if was hard to shoot someone. He said something like “Yes. They don’t run in straight lines, hide behind things, and occasionally shoot back.”

Sounds like the bumper sticker on [Mrs] Trooprally's car. We got it at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico.

During the GoE II weekend, we had 3 Rolling Thunder riders stop behind us at a light. It was great to see their smile as the first on pointed it out to the others.

According to snopes.com, the 'recoil' story is an urban legend:
