Where are all the Ron Paul people coming from?
The Oregon Poll ^ | 9-20-7

Posted on 09/20/2007 6:40:58 PM PDT by Petronski

Over the last two days The Oregon Poll was seen by almost 400 "unique visitors," most of them in support of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. The majority of these people came from these two links on the web.

No, that’s a reaction to comments I find really, really amusing as to their content...

Have you seen any specific plans endorsed by the paleosurrendsermonkey to prevent Ahmanutjob from nuking Israel??? Should we stand idly by and just wait with the Paulistinians through endless diployak and United Nations posturing until Israel IS nuked? How then will we distinguish between Ron Paul and someone who wishes Jewish people dead en masse at the hands of paleoPaulie’s Al Qaeda bosses and sponsors???

So, we’re talking derogator, inflamamatory, and purely for entertainment value. That sounds like we’re getting ready to sanction a flame war. Brilliant.

Looks like the second string Paulinati have taken the field.

If that scenario plays out, then the paleomoonbats will have earned a position equivalent to Mrs. Arkansas Antichrist as the primary enemies of patriots and actual conservatives. Such behavior will not soon be forgotten. “Paleo” will equal “dead.”

No surprise a psychotic rant like that would appeal to you. No surprise at all.

Feel free to answer the question:...since you seem to feel most don't look at La Raza as a racist organization, what is your opinion on this organization?...Is this a racist organization or not?

I've already told you, I think the underlying concept is racist.

The topic, of course, was Willis Carto, a rabid racist/Jewhater/Holocaust denier with a long history, to a lesser.

Do I consider La Raza the equivalent of Carto, no.

To a lesser extent the Council of Conservative Citizens, true constitutionalists who recognize America as a white European country, who would place a religious test on officeholders (must be Christians), do I consider La Raza their equivalent, no.

I'd prefer Paul not speak before La Raza, but he must disassociate himself from the overt hatred of the aforementioned groups.

And you may disagree, I couldn't care less. I recognize these groups have their supporters, many of whom are Paul suporters as well.

Curiosity, why do Paul supporters always change the subject.

If it’s OK with you that he’s published in these papers, why not just admit it and get what support where you can.

So you agree La Raza is a racist organization.

Thanks!

If that is to be, but I doubt it will go there. However the arguments are now officially circular, same thing over and over, so how else to play it when the Mighty Paulinati come a rule us mortals unfit.

The Paul posts for the most part come from you side. As TripE has stated, he is 90% of what FR members support in general, vary degrees not with standing. But that last 10% is a dozy and it is attracting some very unseemly attention to your guy.

BTW, since you're so interested, I've posted a number of threads and comments about the Aztlan/MECHA movement over the years. Particularly focusing on their relationship with mideast terrorism, specificly the PLO and Arafat, which dates back to the early 1980s in Lebanon.

As one so interested in latino racism and terror you've never showed up on one of those discussions?

That's odd.

I will remind you (for what it is worth), that Ron Pauls denials only came after he was caught on video feeding the 9/11 conspiracy delusions of one his supporters by saying the 9/11 conspiracy “should be looked into”.

He may not believe that 9/11 was a government conspiracy, but he was certainly willing to pander to those that do... at least until he was caught doing it. That in itself disqualifies him as presidential material.

Also, for “strict constitutionalist” there are some significant gaps in his knowledge of the Constitution. For example, he says the Iraq war was illegal. It is not.

But I do like his stand on the 2d amendment, fiscal responsibility, and size of govt.

If he knew the first thing about foreign policy or the true nature and aims of islamo-fascism, I would consider voting for him.

But he doesn’t.

Apparently he’s “my guy” because I won’t participate in mischaracterizing and misrepresenting that 90% over the other 10%, and take issue with people who do. Not my idea of entertainment.

I don’t have a link to the video. I saw a clip on the news (Fox, I think), and heard audio on talk radio.

Some knucklehead during a meet and greet started in about the 9/11 conspiracy and the need to investigate it. Ron nodded sagely as if he agreed and told the guy that he definitely thought it should be looked into.

That was when all the questione about it were leveled at Paul. It was right before the debate when Juliani(?) called him on it.

EiAE: This "neocon" baloney is pure anticonservative propaganda cooked up by The Nation, the New Republic and by a group of socially unacceptable, disgruntled political losers calling themselves "paleoconservatives" as though they had roots in the actual conservative movement.

The term was originally cooked up when the radical left lashed out at a group of mostly Jewish elder statesmen (LBJ anti-communist originally liberal Democrats) types and intellectuals centered in NYC (Norman Podhoretz, Irving Kristol, Gertrude Himmelfarb, Midge Decter, Sidney Hook, Alexander Bickel, Walt Whitman Rostow, Eugene Rostow, but also Daniel Bell, Jeanne Kirkpatrick and Daniel Patrick Moynihan) fled the Demonrat Party (with the conspicuous exception of Moynihan) when it was seized by McGovern and the communists backing him. Most of them apparently decided that the Demonrat Party was gone and only the GOP could serve as an anticommunist vehicle thereafter.

Now, there has always been a disreputable element, imagined somehow to be on "the right" which thinks that genetics has something to do with ideology. They might be termed "blood and soil" folks who think that your ancestors' nationality or faith is somehow relevant to a judgment of your ideology or even your right to be a resident and/or citizen of our country. The actual "neos" were, ummm, not like them. Therefore they were horrified when the actual "neos" were embraced as allies by the conservative movement (starting with the American Spectator and Bob Tyrell). The "neos" enthusiastically backed the Vietnam War and anticommunism. They were slower (except for Decter and Himmelfarb) to align with social conservatism and they were probably mystified by fiscal conservatism.

The actual "neos" are either dead or approaching their 90s but the Nation and the New Republic revived the term to stir up trouble in conservative ranks. Convinced undoubtedly that conservatives are racists, anti-Semites, and xenophobes, the leftist publications decided to smear conservatives and, observing the likes of atheist Sam Francis in the "paleo" ranks (purged by the Washington Times for addressing neo-Nazi conferences of American Renaissance), denominated the blood and soil nutcases (who are also antiwar antiAmericans generally) as "paleo""conservatives" as though somehow they had conservative roots and the mainstream conservative movement which elected Ronaldus Maximus and destroyed the leftists' Senatorial heroes as "neo"conservatives.

Meanwhile, the administration of Ronaldus Maximus knew well that the "paleos" were the funny uncles in the attic of the GOP and that they were not and never would be ready for prime time. They were politely ignored by Reagan until finally they figured out in 1986 that they were not credentialed and were not going to be. Until then, they told themselves that they were in line. In 1986, they figured out that they were NOT in line and they exploded in rage, not that anyone other than they cared.

The enraged ethnocentric nutcases have now been around as a minimovement for 21 years and have aligned with the libertoonians and peacecreeps and other assorted politically unacceptable and embarrassing exotic flora and fauna and they want to be taken SERIOUSLY NOW!!! They are fed up with being just funny uncles and want some of the action. Thanks, but no thanks.

Well since you're into McCarthyite litmus tests....a much stronger case can be made that a presidential candidate should be "disqualified" for "pandering" to those who would violate the Constitution by supporting an undeclared, preemptive, Wilsonian war. Then again, since you like litmus tests so much, why not "disqualify" a candidate who openly lobbies to restore a murdering thug named Aristide to power? Let me guess, you think that is "different?"

The only thing odd is your statement.

Upon a simply cursory search, I came up with this very recent thread, that had about 1000 hits and went on for about 3 days...But I didn't see your moniker there. It took me about 20 seconds to find it.

Hmmm...
