I don’t know all the details of this case, and if I did I might side with the father, but it seems to me, short of actual forced sexual activity on the part of the boy, the father should have just as much beef with his daughter for consenting to the sex. Most 15 year old girls are as mature as 17 year old guys. It may be that the father cannot stand the idea that his daughter is loose so he figures it must be the boys fault....and so the beating.

Girls get pregnant. Boys don’t. Boys walk free of responsibility.

I have to say I don’t quite understand that, either.
Seems we still think males are the sexual predators and females are innocent. These days, sex is everywhere, promoted as the most awesome thing, and virtually expected once you reach 14. Females are just as guilty as loose morals are males.
Personally, I would beat her up for screwing around contrary to my teachings.
Kind of the same twisted logic of the jilted spouse blaming and going off on the spouse’s LOVER, instead of focusing on the spouse who directly violated the contract with the jilted. It’s the SPOUSE’S butt which should be on the line, not some 2nd party.
