That’s what we’re all waiting to hear.
That said, if the first truck that jackknifed and started it all turns out to have been a fuel tanker or was carrying flammable chemicals, that’s all it needs to start the fun.

It’s probably just an accident. If someone was going to do something like this as an attack, they’d do it during rush hour. But still, I’m going to stay up for a few more minutes.

I know! But... I know I’ve been in serious situations and have not always responded to them as a worst-case situation (”this really can’t happen....”) Luckily they didn’t become as “worst case” as they could have been. Hope this doesn’t either (hope the bridge stays up long enough for folks to get out).

I was thinking that if this could happen at a “good time”, 11 pm is sure a lot better than 5 pm. (But not as good as 3 am).

There is no nearby water source...the closet hydrant is the landfill, which is a ways away....they are shuttling water using water tenders and such
