Hi Folks. Maybe not many fans here, but today turned out a bit bad. After the depressing news from pakistan, we had another loss. This one personal to me.
South African Reggae singer Lucky Dube killed by car-jacker, while dropping off his son. Most in USA don't know who this guy is, but he is one of the good ones. I hero in his nation, and to his people. He is a reggae peacenick, but walks his walk. Very conservative family guy, and much love for his home country. another punk criminal piece of crap robs us of one special person. I have been lucky enough to meet Lucky several times and work with him in music. I'm a bit blind sided right now. R.I.P. my friend.
RIP Lucky Dube. Used to think he was Namibian for some reason.
Sorry on the loss of your friend. May he rest in peace and prayers for his family. I hope they catch the folks who committed this heinous act.

Lucky is a common name in S.A., just like Patience, Lover, Pretty, Gift etc.
It took us a while to get used to the names; now car-jacking and murders is something else.

Interesting fact: Lucky Dube, even though he was a Rasta, didn't drink, smoke cigarettes, or smoke cannabis.
