NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

"I will be supporting the Republican candidate, as long as they are not anti-war"

You have your 'no vote' conditions, ours is pro-life. We have as much right to vote as we choose as you do.

we had to end that pregnancy to save my wife’s life.

The vast majority who are pro-lifers completely understand the choice you and your wife had to make. It is the other 99.9% of abortions we have an issue with.

I hate abortion too, but it is between a man, his wife, his doctor and his God.

The protection of the life of the unborn should be a concern for all of us. If we don't have the guts to stand up for the weakest among us, then frankly, I think our country deserves a Democrat President.

If the contest comes down to Rudy and Hillary, Hillary will win simply because Rudy's dirty laundry will be aired over and over and over. . .and he has plenty of it to air.

The only chance the Republican party stands is to get rid of Rudy in the primaries.

No one has argued you don’t have a right to choose as you do... just understand what you are “choosing” by that choice. If “values voters” cut off their noses to spite their faces and you hand Hitlery the white house, you can kiss completely goodbye any chance in your lifetime of the court returning abortion to the states, and are guaranteed to condemn millions more to die each year.

If your goal is as you claim to stop abortion, you cannot engage in an activity that would assure an utter entrenchment of the antithesis of your views into the court for at least a generation or two to come.

Breyer 69 years old, liberal leaning.
Thomas 59 years old, conservative but african americans have a shorter lifespan statitically speaking.
Ginsburg 74 years old, liberal
Alito 57 years old, conservative
Kennedy 71 years old swing (Catholic)
Stevens 87 years old, liberal
Roberts 52 years old, conservative
Scalia 71 years old, conservative
Souter 68 years old, liberal

In the next 4-8 years you will have at least 5-6 openings on the court.

You claim “life” is your vote, but you know damned well if Hitlery is the president, no nominee that remotely holds a veiw that abortion is not a right protected by the constitution will be presented. That means the liberal view of abortion will rule the court for at least 40 years if Hitlery wins. 3-4 million or so a year, 40 years, 1.2-1.6 BILLION murders, that you can clap yourself on the back for allowing to continue so you could claim your “principle”, good job doing your part to help end abortion.

While you don’t have to like Rudy, or support him in the primary, to say I won’t vote for him and go third party or stay home in the general if he’s the nominee, if your goal is to move to ending abortion, is nonsensical and shallow thinking. You don’t have to like him, but Rudy is surely not going to be presenting leftist ideologues and feminazis to the supreme court. His nominees may not be as conservative as you may want, but they damned well will not be the radicalized activists that we all know Hitlery will nominate.

So, which candidate is more likely to nominate AND FIGHT for nominees who don’t tow the feminist abortion line? Hitlery or Rudy? Simple fact is, while you may not like the man, there is no rational way you can claim Rudy is Hillary on this issue, unless you are ill informed, or just flat out ignorant. You may not like the fact Rudy has claimed he’ll hire strict constitutionalists.. but Hitlery has openly stated no one who threatens abortion would get her nomination.

So, you can claim you are taking a princpled stand, and accomplishing nothing but letting the abject enemy of your goals into power, and ensure that your movement goes nowhere for at 40 years in terms of federal law, or you can influence change, even if not as much as one would want, in your direction.

Splitting the conservative vote accomplishes nothing for your end goal, and sets it back 2 generations.

Sorry for an intelligent poster you are missing the point. The end goal is to nominate pro-life candidates if not in 2008 then 2012. Also an intelligent poster wouldn't believe Giuliani. You say anyone but Paul, I say anyone but Giuliani.

But you lose your chance to sign a third-party petition. Why throw your vote away in the primary and then lose that opportunity? The GOP primary in NY State is winner-take-all, as far as delegates to the convention.

I agree. I’ve never thought Rudy was the most electable. I will however vote for the Republican candidate over the Democrat regardless of whether I get my way in the primaries. What I’d really like is for this thread to die. There hasn’t been a new thought in 700 posts. But here I am like a moth to a flame.

Now stop that. I am not PROUDLY pro-abortion. I wish there were no abortions...BUT I LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD. And it will never be outlawed here. I want it hard to get, parental notification, waiting periods, counseling..etc. But totally illegal...no.

Really Hildy? Was it hard for you to get your abortion? Did you have to get your parents permission?

aw, but there’s the rub. no matter how hard she tries, hildy cannot ignore the inexorable pull to FR. she tells herself she won’t come back, she will be happy at rudybot central, but time and again she is drawn back into FR’s orbit.

“Village idiot” is a job description, not a name. The names I could think of to call you all start with the first three letters of the alphabet and would upset the moderators.

You're arguing the wrong thing will her.

Hildy has issues that are much more than just abortion.

In her own words....

It’s insane...like they are. The first think I ever learned to type was this sentence: NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR PARTY.

These aren’t good men..these are fanatics, who throw tantrums when they don’t get their way...and I’ll go further that this is less about the unborn, then the control of women. There...I said it.

I think the debate last night established two things.

THe focus group preshow established there is a UNIVERSAL 100% perception Hillary Clinton is a socialist.

(that is just a freebee and just plain fun)

ok onwards

Last night the debate established OVERWHELMINGLY that all the candidates and the audience DO NOT WANT hillary clinton to be president.

Last night, thanks to Fred Thompsons opening shot, Giuliani was firmly established as having MULTIPLE positions which are identical to hillary clinton.

Last night, Giuliani’s “you have got to be kidding” doth protest too much and failure to deny he has multiple identical positions as hillary clinton further set him up as a hillary clinton clone.

The conclusion:

Hillary Clinton is running in the GOP Primary via surrogate Giuliani.

Voting against Giuliani in the primary is voting against Hillary Clinton.

furthermore:

No Giuliani, No problem.

This is why the MSM is pushing the Fruitless Five to stay in the race. Huckabee is out of money. He has ZERO chance of winning but he is a good vote splitter.

Keeping the field open and away from the top three allows Giuliani and his 25-27% standing to win a plurality by divide and conquer.

In a general election it is Hillary vs Hillary. Hillary the democrat will run to the right of Hillary the republican.

Did you know Hillary was the senator of NY on 9/11?
(sound familiar?)

No Giuliani, no problem.

Actually the quote used to learn to type is:

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

But she is right about one thing, it isn't 1970. We didn't have Ronald Reagan leading us back to conservative values in 1970. We are better than we were in 1970 and know we don't have to settle for a liberal liar in Republican clothing.
