"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

You obviously haven’t researched Rudy’s picks for judges - they have been liberal across the board. No one is buying the “I will nominate strict constructionist” lie.

I’m trusting that God will provide the perfect candidate to fight Hillary. We have to keep praying that He won’t abandon our country! :*(

Well, part of what differentiates conservatism from liberalism as a political ideology is that conservatism cares about end results, not the means.

I reject that outright. You've got it bass-ackwards. It is the Conservatives who insist upon character, integrity, and fair play. It is the Liberals who could care less how they accomplish their vision- To THEM (not us), the end justifies the means.

They absolutely do have a choice Ben!! Vote pro-life in the Primary..........THAT is what this is, a PRIMARY! If we do not nominate a pro-choice candidate, then we have no problem, now do we?

If you vote for Rudy, don’t you get that you ARE voting for a Democrat in Republican clothing? :*(

I and my family and many of my friends are on-board with this approach.

No votes for Pro-choice Rudy in the Primary or General!

“agree. But what do you do if you have pro abortion candidates in both parties?”

a) Write in a candidate, b) skip the presidential portion of the ballot, c) vote third party, d) stay home and watch Republicans destroy the primary reasons Christians vote for them in one day... The options are plentiful. We’ll have to hope primary voters aren’t dumb enough to think a pro-abort candidate is acceptable.

Agreed, JimRob. Agreed.

As I have said, I fear God more than Hillary. If the Republicans put forward Rudy as the candidate, they will lose.

There are two groups that want a Rudy candidatecy.
1. Main stream media.
2. The Republican National Committee

Rudy will not beat hillary in a National election. The main stream media know this. Rudy knows this, hillary knows this. The main stream media know this. I suspect that the Republican National Committee knows this also.

I, and many prople I know wil not vote for Rudy under any circumstances.

If this means a hillary Presidency, then so be it.

"That would be best. In the meantime, we need to send a loud and clear message to the GOP and its liberal, moderate and pro-abortion RINO wing, and other weak-kneed, hand-wringing members, if you abandon the party’s long-standing conservative principles and the party’s platform of defending life and liberty by nominating a constitution trampling abortionist, you will never ever win another election and your party dies." Exactly.

Have you looked into how many conservatives were available for consideration? After all, we're talking about a very blue city in a very blue state.

I agree. To me, that’s the number one value. After all, none of the others apply if you’re not allowed to be born in the first place.

We need to “Swift Boat” Rudy....the MSM will not show him as a liberal.

Well they won't unless he becomes the nominee. Then--Katy, bar the door!--all of his skeletons and his anti-conservative issues will become front-and-center, screaming headlines used to turn-off conservative voters that "warmed" to Rudy and fence sitters.

AND if that were to be the case, there will be a lot of "I told ya so" action.

“Sorry I ain’t buying it. Rudy proclaimed that his policies were similar to Clinton’s.”

And that Clinton’s judicial appointments were fantastic. Ginsberg, anyone?

While my heart is with you on the issues, I recall what one of my posc profs said: "We are a two party system and third parties don't win elections."

Don't tell me about the Whigs. That was a century and a half ago!

I have to admit that if Rudy is the nominee I am going to have to do a long wrestle with my conscience to be able to support him.

On the other hand, if he can convince me, which he hasn’t yet been able to, that he would appoint strict constructionists to the SC, I would probably have to hold my nose and vote for him. But I don’t have to decide just now, and hopefully I never will.

Here’s what I see as wrong with the plan to withhold conservative support from a liberal Republican. Whatever Hillary gets done is FOREVER. We’ve been fighting 40 years or longer, 60 if you go back to FDR, with nothing of the Fair Deal or the Great Society rolled back. Liberalism is a one-way ratchet.

After 8 years of the Hildebeast and her pinko judicial appointments, will anything be left worth saving of America? Maybe, but why take a chance?

On the other hand, as you know, liberal Rs like Nixon and Ike did immeasurable damage, as did conservatives like the magnificent Ronnie Reagan and George Bush the first with ill-considered appointments.

Jim, you may rest assured that I will think long, hard, and prayerfully on my choices for both the primary and the general election, and I may well come down on your side.

God bless you for this wonderful site and the courageous work that you do.
