Are the numbers supplied by the NK government? I suspect things are even worse in the North.
It’s got to be worse than this. I wouldn’t take NK figures seriously. Just look at the gruesome height difference between Northerners and Southerners. I’ve heard about the non-existent health service and descriptions of whole villages with hardly any old people.
The effects of the famines on twenty and unders must be especially dramatic. I’m betting there is some mental retardation as well.
My guess is that “million-man” army’s young privates and corporals can barely hold an AK, much less conquer the peninsula.
Many of them are less than 5 feet tall.
I remember an interesting “New Yorker” article on human stature. It seems there are exactly three adolescent growth spurts. If you’re seriously sick or starving at the time, your body misses the train.
If you’re malnourished in early childhood your one-per-customer brain pays the price.
Why are US Troops STILL there protecting South Korea?
South Korea: 50 times the economy and twice the population of the north.
WELL Yeah Tiger HELLO if you live on Chia Pet famous diet of Tree bark you wouldn’t live long
North Korea is publishing these figures to its own people? Why?
