Interesting view of the Middle east. Roads all over... except in Israel. Why doesn't Google just cut the pretense and call it Palestine?

Most likely nothing political. A quick check of Google Earth shows no road labels in Israel, Lebanon, or Syria.

Just to play devil’s advocate, is it possible that the lack of info is related to security concerns? Has Google indicated any reason why they don’t offer this info for Israel?
I’ll be the first one yelling if it can be shown this lapse is at all related to a liberal, anti-Israel, or antisemitic bias, but I do like to eliminate the reasonable explanations and at least hear the ‘’official’’ reason so it can be vetted before I assume a nefarious purpose.

You can not get flight tracker or any of he other flight tracking web sites to track a flight going to the mid-east. I assume it is for security.

Thanks. In that case, Google owes an explanation, big time.

Click on Hybrid or Satellite. Then you can see the roads on the photos.

My hubby seems to think that it is for security reasons.
Is that wrong?
