And our boy Bush put in Gates as SecDef, Gates who, with Zbigniew Brezinski (Carter's "genius" NSA), coauthored the 2004 CFR paper "Iran: Time for a New Approach" [see also, Chamberlain, Neville: "How I pursued a Road Map to Peace with Herr Hitler at Munich in 1938 and all I got was this lousy piece of paper"].
Let's be clear: Clinton dispatched Carville to Israel to get Ehud Barak [the sound a weasel makes puking] elected over Benjamin Netanyahu. Barak gave Arafat everything including the kitchen sink and Arafat gave back an Intifada in 2000 with lots of dismembered innocent Jews.
Carter gave the Ayatollah a green light and is a major-league Jew-hater, hey, it's the truth and everybody knows it.
So Condi, casting desperately about for reasons to squeeze Israel to surrender to genocidal killers who train their children to murder Jews, consults the biggest terrorist-enablers of our time.

I’ve said from the beginning that the US should not be in the business of mediating a settlement between Israel and the Palestinians. This is just one more reason why.
