All that government “owned” land makes me want to howl like that dumb wolf on that National Wilderness Institute logo!!! Is this map their creation? If so, are they braggin, or complainin???

To be fair and a little more accurate, many of these federal designated areas are checker boarded with private tracts, in some areas as high as 50%. Of course owners in these areas are often under the guidelines of that agency for property use limitations.
