I’m a “gun-grabber?” Since when?
You didn’t answer my questions in post #174.
Btw, do we have to love and own guns in order to be “true conservatives?” Just wondering.
No, but you need to respect the rights of those of us that do. That's the whole basis of conservatism.
I never said any such thing; you're just spewing your idiotic assumptions again. You clearly know nothing about me and what I stand for and you just spout garbage.
That lack of integrity shows that you are not very bright...
I have more integrity and intelligence in my little finger than you have in your whole being. You have displayed the integrity of a terrorist and the intelligence of a doorknob.
Thats the way liberals are. Whatever sounds good at the time.
Yes, you would know far better than I what liberals are like, wouldn't you?
You liberals all overstimate yourselves.
I hate to think I might miss a big ol' juicy ZOT. ;-)
I would believe as an Admin Moderator, you would be the one on thin ice. Unless it is ok to call folks idiots left and right. While I refrained from responding in kind, you failed to take action, and at a minimum temporarily banning the name caller. I do however understand that if I had responded the same way, you would’ve taken action against me.
If you had integrity, you would enforce the rules in a uniform way, not just enforcing them on those who disagree with your views. Please try to have some integrity, and act accordingly. Power corrupts as you know :P
I smell ozone.
And in what way is blowing up large sections of New York and Washington not a threat to our national security?
Suicide by mod. How lovely.
No, but you need to respect the rights of those of us that do.
Where do I say that I don't?
To me, you are coming across as an extremist on the issue though.
{Sniff! Sniff!}
I’m still not the one name calling. I could’ve swore I read something about that in the rules. If I am able to not call names, while it would feel really nice, why can’t others follow the same rules ?
Duncan Hunter is one of our congressmen here in San Diego.
You said he is big gov. He is the exact opposit.
Hunter is the only informed Conservative running.
L Ron Paul is against the War on Terror and has
to many anti Jewish people supporting him.
Also has to many 9/11 was staged by the gov. idiots.
L Ron Paul is not a Republican nor Conservative.
The only "insult" I posted was followed by one of those winky faces, indicating that I'm busting your chops. I'm assuming by your screen name that you're a chick, and I try not to go around insulting women.
Where do I say that I don't?
By supporting assault weapons bans. Nobody is forcing you to own them. Just leave your hands off of mine.
To me, you are coming across as an extremist on the issue though.
If believing the Constitution means what it says makes me an extremist, then so be it. I've certainly been called much worse.
It's "sworn," and you called me a liberal right off the bat, as well as making your own leftie-spun assumptions about how I stand on things.
Calling me a "liberal" is equivalent to calling me an "idiot."
You deserved what you got. Now, stop whining.
The US Constitution is a procedural document which does not contain a philosophical discussion of property ownership or self-ownership.
It's only significant reference to either of these is in the 5th Amendment insofar as they relate to matters of judicial procedure.
And the 5th Amendment specifically circumscribes these rights rather than holding them up as absolutes.
I am a staunch advocate of the US Constitution, but I do not hold to the false Rousseauian notion that we own ourselves.
Not them, nor the Constitution matter, and it has devolved into a me vs. them thing, not based on any sort of rigid principles, but only on a mindset that freedom is only freedom for things you agree with.
The Constitution, if the Founders are to be credited, was designed to ensure a stable system of ordered liberty in which the rule of law obtains while maintaining the accountability of the makers, enforcers and interpreters of those laws to each other, to the people and to their chosen representatives.
You're accusing Allegra of being a liberal. On this site, that IS name calling. There are plenty of actual liberals who are anti-Paul around here. Allegra ain't one.
If you'd believe that, you'd believe anything. Adios.
So was Hungary, at a time when we had an effective nuclear delivery system while Khrushchev didn't. We chose not to intervene on that occasion even though the Soviets were explicitly breaking a treaty by invading.
Who, pray tell, does own us then? I swear to God, this thread is going to drive me to start happy hour early.
