That’s the kind of judgment we can expect from judges appointed by Mitt Romney.

An official from the Massachusetts Republican Party said yesterday that the affiliations of the nominees have no bearing on their abilities.

''They all have prosecutorial experience," said Matt Wylie, the party's executive director. ''We can count on them to be law-and-order judges. Patronage has no place in hiring and appointments."

Romney has argued that political views don't matter when it comes to enforcing the law. The legal community celebrated the governor's new rules for the Judicial Nominating Commission, including a ''blind" first phase of the selection process that removes names from applications to ensure that candidates are judged on merits alone.

ghostrider: “Wow! Pictures say so much.”

Amazing, isn’t it? What a sad commentary on society that the judge, aka liberal shrew, was most likely more concerned about the tattooed freak than the risk he presented to society. Yet again, another clean cut couple cut down in the cause of political correctness.

This is horrible. How did these kids get involved with this lunatic?

May this judge Tuttman rot in hell. I’ve always said judges should have to live in those neighborhoods that they release these criminals into. Judges whould have no more personal protection than an ordinary citizen.

Judge Kathe M. Tuttman, the lenient judge is the one person who could have stop the murderer. The worst thing about it is that she will not learn that evil must be destroyed and she will let more killers go unpunished, free to repeat their evil acts again and again.

Oh good Lord.

We are screwed if Mitt get’s in.

That is the most naive thing I have ever read. Liberal criminal judges are half the crime problem

Judges can be recalled by petition in Massachusetts, but the Legislature (being almost 90% Democrat) would certainly find a way to kill it. I know that people who haven’t lived in Mass. wonder why Mitt Romney would ever appoint a Democrat to a judgeship. The reason is that there were few eligible Republicans in the state of whom the legislature would approve. Today, there are even fewer.

Yup . . . the judge who set the perp free on personal recognizance was a Romney appointee and a registered Democrat.

Now that's interesting.

Sounds like they were his neighbors, and got into an argument with him.

I am quite tempted to ask people to email the dead couple’s photograph to the judge and ask her how she’s sleeping at night.

Of course the judge will have herself a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow.

She a liberal - so she a sociopath. She won't have one twinge of guilt or any sense of responsibility.

I am quite tempted to ask people to email the dead couple’s photograph to the judge and ask her how she’s sleeping at night.

I'm sure she's not sleeping so well. From the story:

Reached last night at her Andover home, Tuttman, who was appointed to the bench by former Gov. Mitt Romney, said, “I’m sorry, I’m not able to comment on this.” When informed what the slain woman’s father had said, she repeated, “I’m sorry, I’m not able to comment about this.”

A spokesman for Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early said prosecutors had wanted to keep Tavares behind bars last summer and argued for high bail because of the brutality of the alleged attacks on correction officers.

That’s the kind of judgment we can expect from judges appointed by Mitt Romney.

That's the kind of judges we can expect all of the candidates, excepting Fred and Duncan, to appoint to the supreme court, regardless of what their lying lips tell us.

Sorry, just thought it needed a bit of an upgrade...

This is what happens when you let liberalism run wild and when you let radical lawyers in robes interpret the law.
