I suspect someone knew and over time has given it up. That's what private investigators have been waiting for. They also have gotten some type of hard evidence.
No way would these men been arrested again without some undeniable evidence which was thrown at the crappy dutch legal system giving them NO choice but to pursue this case further.
She was most likely given that date rape drug which is an extremely dangerous drug and it killed her.
