I have a 38-year old Amazon parrot. In her younger years she would get nervous and start chewing up the very perch she was sitting on until it collapsed (she can splinter a broomstick in seconds...and loves to do it). She destroys the very infrastructure that supports her, and that's pretty close to what these liberals are trying to do.

Tear down the nuclear plant and replace it with what? Some pie-in-the sky liberal pipe-dream of free energy from somewhere....maybe they want to replace it with a coal-fired plant...oops global warming.

The very name of this facility gave me an idea -

if the “Native Americans” can build casinos on their reservations because they are considered to be “other countries” -

why not nuke plants?

It can't be coal, oil, or gas. Applications for all of these have been made and rejected by New York. It can't be hydro, wind, tidal or solar. Projects to site these have been rejected by New York as well. I am pretty sure PeTA would object to a million squirrels running on a million wheels. I don't see where the power is going to come from.

“Tear down the nuclear plant and replace it with what?”

How about a ton of windmills in the Hamptons.
