If you spent your life in your parents basement getting stoned all day, you would probably believe some weird things too.

Can’t even imagine that kind of existence.

So, if you come into my house and I shoot you ... I attacked you?

Lemme guess, sign. no. treaties. ever. They aren't worth the paper they're written on unless the terms of them are followed & the ones signed to end wars sometimes have to be enforced.

We should have done more about Iraq in 1995, after Hussein Kamel (sp) flipped on Saddam Hussein. Operation Desert Fox was larger than was generally reported in the news.

Lemme guess, if we’d just let Saddam have Kuwait..?

NO! If we would have taken him out when we were at his front door! IF we would have done the job right back in 1991 all of the crap that happened from 1991 through 2001 would have never happened. We could have avoided the mess we are in now.

Let me tell you what it takes to win a war.

A war is won or lost when the winner makes the loser lose something he did not intend on losing. That is why America cannot win wars, and has lost everyone since Nam. As long as the enemy has not lost something he did not intend on losing, he will fight. Think back to when Khaddafi came home and found his son blown all over the neighborhood. He did not intend on losing his son. The same thing hapend to Don Corleone [It is not fiction]. At that point he lost and we won. In the 1991 Saddam did not lose anything that he did not intend on losing. We are fighting an enemy who does not care if he dies [kind of like the kamakazi pilots]. Kamakazi pilts were not afraid that we might shoot them out of the sky. However, the Japanese never expect to lose the 2nd and 3rd largest cities, and when they did ... they lost.

The only way to WIN this war is to wipe out the enemy, because that is the only way he will consider himself a loser. You have to take him there. But we won't. We are going to throw a crap load of US Dollars and young men at the problem for the next 40 years.

Saddam did not intend on losing his beloved renegade province.
He also thought we’d leave him alone.

“Us” means the American soil.

What would you have had us do after the attack on Pearl Harbor?

There was a significant amount of yellowcake found in Iraq after we went in there.

Think you need to reexamine your premises.

CIA is no friend of this administration (google VIPS).

I looked at the link, read a little of it, and did a search of the page and nowhere on the page does it even mention iraq or saddam hussein. Did I miss something?

We found quite a bit of surprising stuff in Iraq aftfer Desert Storm.
Had equipment monitoring it as well.
Saddam kicked the inspectors out.
We go back in there, the inspectors went straight to where they knew the stuff had been, and voila, it’s gone.
And not just the stuff, but the monitoring equipment as well.
(Is anyone surprised by that?)

Amazingly, some idiots actually took that to mean the stuff had never existed.
(Ricin, phosgene, sarin, mustard gas, 500 tons uranium products known to be there in 1996.. suddenly never existed?)

Hindsight is 20/20 & at the time, our CiC, most of his advisers & most of the leaders of the free world were still in a Cold War mentality. You don't think there would have been any insurgency & reconstruction with Iran messing with us at the end of Desert Storm with the Hussein government toppled?

I came to the realization that it is even pointless to speak with RP supporters.

They can never answer a question without an accusation or another question of nonsensical words.

There is no debate or discussion only gobbly gook.

Speaking of the Clintonista CIA

Does anyone know what the Ron Paul view on Valerie Plame is?

You’re right, but toying with them can be pretty entertaining as long as you don’t do it all the time.

Saying Saddam didn't have WMDs is about as stupid as going into the concentration camps after WWII, seeing all the bodies, and saying that Germany never had ZyclonD because the barrels were empty.
