So its the rural farm hicks in pickups that need guns but sophisticated urbanites are too smart for them?? Is that what she is saying?
She seems to be comfortable with the rural “demographic” having guns, but not the urban.
Same foundation as gun controllers have had for a long time.

rural folks might want to own guns.
You rural folks DON'T NEED GUNS! All you shoot are deer and stuff.......
Us folks who live in and around cities like Detroit are the ones who NEED GUNS! We're the ones being shot, stabbed, held up, you name it.........
You rural people are having fun, we're not having fun...... /humor

Does this mean Barak makes his Secret Service detail disarm before he goes into the big city?....

I can see why if I was living out here, I’d want a gun. Because, you know, 911 is going to take some time before somebody responds.
Then by that logic it should be okay for anyone to have a gun as 911 will “take some time” whereever you live and in a life or death situation there is more often than not little time.

Does this mean Barak makes his Secret Service detail disarm before he goes into the big city?....If we had intelligent and active minded reporters...we'd get questions like that of these folks.
But alas....all we generally have are talking heads...with good hair.

Exceptionally revealing.....
"And by the way, Michelle, my wife, she was traveling up, I think, in eastern Iowa,"
Eastern Iowa? She feels threatened in Eastern Iowa? Is there anybody other than White people in Eastern Iowa? I do believe her racist slip be showing.

The problem with this is that the Pres candidate is running and his wife is not. If his advisor is so capable, maybe she should run instead.

One time I called 911 and got placed on hold transferred 3 times before they finally found the right dispatcher to take my call.
I wish I was joking.
There seemed to be confusion about the jurisdiction of the location of the incident I was calling to report and they couldn’t figure out who was supposed to take the report.

“So the point is, though, we should be able to do that, and we should be able to enforce laws that keep guns off the streets in inner cities because some unscrupulous gun dealer is, you know, letting somebody load up a van with a bunch of cheap handguns or sawed-off shotguns and dumping them and selling them for a profit in the streets.”
Let’s not let this Hegalian dialecticist play us urban and rural gun owners off each other for his political benefit. The 2nd amendment is for ALL law-abiding citizens equally.

"because some unscrupulous gun dealer is, you know, letting somebody load up a van with a bunch of cheap handguns or sawed-off shotguns and dumping them and selling them for a profit in the streets." Name one of these scary "unscrupulous" gun dealers. Pure fiction to create fear. Maybe his wife can run for president.

I dunno, she is tuning into something most of us have known for years. But most Americans know where the Democratic party stands on gun control so those of us who want to defend ourselves from thugs know not to vote for a Dem. It’s also the reason I love Rudy but couldn’t vote for him either.
